There were a few times when I honestly forgot I was wearing one of them. Once you get them on, they stay in place and don’t feel as if they are at risk of falling off. As for the cons: - really takes some practice to put them on, especially if your trying one-handed. I could never quite get the hang of it. - the sound is sub-par in my opinion. This is mostly due to the “open ear” design. Everyone’s ears are different so they quite naturally can’t fit optimally for everyone. Due to this I could never get the sound “projected” properly to my ear canal(s). Found I needed the volume at 75% or higher - preset equalizer settings need some work, but it’s possible the hardware and open ear design allow in too much ambient noise for it to really make a difference. - they would sporadically disconnect and then reconnect when playing audio for more than 25-30 minutes

Posted .I'm glad you find your Ultra Open Earbuds stable and comfortable to wear! It's true that wearing any new earbud product can take a little getting used to, however you should adapt to your earbuds quickly.

Great for working out

The music and phone calls come in clearly, and you sound clear. They work wonders when working out at the gym. You don't have to deal with all the sliding or falling out.

I also love the fact that I can still hear my surroundings when I wear them—makes me feel much safer! The battery life is great, I have 0 complaints with these:)

Only bad thing is for some reason at times it sounds like the right ear bud pops and the speaker sounds like it’s gonna blow out but then it goes back to normal after like 2-3 minures

They're very comfy and they sound great but I lost one of the earbuds on campus, which was entirely my fault. When I contacted their support to try to purchase a replacement earbud they informed me that they are factory paired and it is impossible to purchase a replacement. The only option they gave me was to purchase a new one at full price. After some discussion they did offer me a one-time discount to purchase a new set. However the purchase price was based on their original MSRP not what I purchased it which would have still been more expensive than what I paid at Best buy. I recommend avoiding any earbuds like these if this is their standard protocol.

I’m not sure if it’s due to the microphone’s placement, but the person’s voice sounds distant when speaking. Despite this, the sound quality and comfort are some of the best I’ve tried. Without a doubt, it’s a good option if you prioritize sound quality.

The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds feature two microphones in each earbud, and wearing them properly can greatly improve call quality. Blocked microphones may cause poor sound quality for the listener on the other end of the call, so please ensure they are not obstructed by headwear and that the earbuds are positioned correctly on each ear.

Awesome Earbuds. Missing Wireless Charging.

I hate using in ear as they irritate my ear constantly and always make you more prone to infections/are just plain annoying on the ear. It's a lot of wear as well to wear them all day. These on the other hand clip beautifully around your ear, sit just outside and the sound quality is amazing. Bose does it again. I wouldn't trade these for anything. The only thing I wish was that the case had wireless charging. That is the one thing missing and no one seems to have stock for the wireless charging accessory. Although considering the price, you'd think it'd just have wireless charging to begin with, it's 2024 after all. Still awesome earbuds.

I would give them a 5/5 IF they did well on audio while being on a call. They don’t do very well when it comes to being a microphone for a phone call which is its only negative thing. Besides that, they’re incredible earbuds. I love that I can work on things & listen to music or an audio book while also being aware of my surroundings. I get spooked very easily & sometimes that can be hard with regular noise canceling headphones/earbuds.

Ear buds will connect and disconnect at random. Volume isn't great. They are very comfortable and can be worn all day. I would forget they were there. Button function is nice.

Posted .Hi David, thanks for your feedback regarding the Ultra Open Earbuds. Great to hear you were impressed by the level of comfort offered, and the button function. For poor voice pickup, this is generally attributed to the way they are placed on the ears. There are tiny holes on the buds which work best when directed towards your mouth and if they're too high, it'll direct external sound into the mics. I recommend readjusting the placement and try another call to see if that helps.
