I know they obviously won't be to the level of a noise canceling headset, but the conolaints I got while on the phone with them forced a retun. With the price being that premium, I expected more from them.

When you place your call, please make sure the microphone holes on the inner edges of the earbuds are not blocked, and that you are not in a busy environment.

The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds have a battery life of up to 7 hours with Immersive Audio off, 4 hours with Immersive Audio on, and 3 hours when both Immersive Audio and Auto Volume are enabled. With a fully charged case, you can get up to 19.5 hours of use. Charging times are approximately 1 hour for the earbuds, 3 hours for the case, and a quick 10‑minute charge provides up to 2 hours of use.
Each earbud is equipped with two microphones, and proper positioning can greatly improve call quality. Blocked microphones may cause poor sound for the listener on the other end, so please ensure they are not obstructed by headwear and are worn correctly. They are very comfortable and great for audio books. I love that they sit outside of your ear, however not great if what you’re looking for is noise cancellation. They are also not great for talking on the phone. But for music and audiobook these are excellent!

But using for the newest iPhone wasn’t so great. There was no noise cancellation so anyone I talked to could hear all the noise I was doing around me.

To be aware of your surroundings as well as listening to music. I love the aesthetic of them. Took a star down because I don’t feel like they are worth the price point listed. If you have money to waste go right ahead but I return mines only cause I couldn’t wrap my head around the concept.

The angle is a bit tricky for maximum sound, my only gripe. Physical buttons are incredibly easy to use even with gloves.
