I was excited about these and wanted to try them out. Out of the box, i was impressed. the immersion mode was pretty neat, turn your head and the audio sounds like its coming from one direction. I loved that i could wear these and not miss anything going around me. Only thing i didn't like was the call quality. Keep in mind, these are not noise cancelling nor are they in your ear. When it came time to make a call, if you happened to be in an environment that has some background noise, it was kinda hard to hear the person on the other line. I found myself diverting the call back to my phone and putting my phone up to my ear (you can still do this without taking off the open earbuds). Not the end of the world but a minor inconvenience if you want to keep your hands free. Ended up returning but might repurchase if they fix the call audio and if they drop the hefty $300 price tag

Phenomenal headphones, especially if you're a fan of outdoors activities where awareness is genuinely helpful, or if you just don't like the way eardrums normal headphones cause!

Can’t go wrong with the open ear Bose earbuds for sound quality and protecting of your ears not having to insert them in your ear canal. It saves on damage to your inner ear. I suggest you buy this product in the Bose system sounds great so if you’re looking for a pair of earbuds, try those out I recommend it.

If you're looking for earbuds that you can still hold conversation with people and you're not too worried about noise canceling. These are definitely the earbuds for you. For being an open earbud, they have really great sound and okay bass, but you should kinda expect that from open earbuds. I've had mine for a couple months and they still sound good, I would definitely recommend.

Decent audio quality, unfortunate high noise floor

They pair fine, have minor connectivity issues on Android (odd dropouts that require disconnect/reconnect), and sound reasonably good for what they are. They look much nicer than most other open-ear alternatives and don't suggest "Don't talk to me" which is nice. My one main gripe is that the noise floor is much higher than an average TWS. It's very noticeable in quiet environments and generally makes these feel cheaper than the price tag indicates. Would strongly recommend waiting for a firmware update that fixes this before opting for them.

      Hello Jack,

It's wonderful that you've been enjoying the audio quality of the earbuds. For the connection dropouts I'd recommend double checking that you're not connecting to the Bluetooth LE connection of the earbuds for every day use.

I understand you're hearing the noise-floor of the earbuds, it is odd that it would be audible even outside of quiet environments. It is not normally audible by everyone, and we would expect if it is heard to only be in a quiet environment with no music or audio playing. Please reach out to us https://bose.life/contact as we'd love to get your feedback from you.

After purchasing Airpods and Beats wireless earbuds, these by far are the most comfortable! I could wear these for 2 hrs and feel no discomfort. I specifically purchased these to run and they do not move. I had trouble with other brands while exercising, they would fall out when I started to move or sweat. These earbuds are not noise cancelling, you are still able to hear background noise and enjoy your music. Perfect for work and exercising outside.

We really wanted to like them however they started messing up, they weren't loud enough and I thought they were going to be noise cancelling but are not. It could be good for someone who doesn't care about the noise cancellation and just want them for music.

Hi DorothyB, thank you for sharing your feedback. The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are not noise‑cancelling by design, as they feature an open‑ear style. They are intended for people who want to enjoy music while remaining fully aware of their surroundings. Because of the open design, the sound is not isolated within your ears. If you find the volume lower than expected, you can try adjusting it directly through the connected mobile device. We hope this helps clarify any confusion.

Unfortunately this purchase has been real disappointing. The headphones fit great and are super light weight... However, the quality in sound is rough. The sound is hollow and even after adjusting all the settings the volume was never close to enough. I need an option thats not inear but, sound level sacrifice is just not worth it. Hope it works for someone else, this is not practical enough for me.

I bought these to try something different. I'm a big AirPod user. Both Pro and Max. These are nice to not have my ears entirely contained or plugged. I was very pleasantly surprised with the sound quality. These are great to use when I'm around my family and still want to be involved with what's going on around us.

These are by far the best earbuds on the market. They have a great design but it also has some top notch quality which is expected from bose. And they delivered. I love how well it pairs with a variety of devices. I have a simple phone called a light phone and it connects. I have an 8 year old garmin watch and it connects. I love that it proveds great sound while also allowing you to hear the elements around you.

This are very confortable. Sound quality is good has some bass. Call quality is what killed it for me. The design is almost perfect just need to be thinner. The hwawei ones ultimately were better with the same design.
