The telescoping center rod is the same as an old school antenna. Over time it will no longer hold any extended position, then collapse without warning. Mine was already starting to show signs of this happening. I wouldn't use it even if it were free.

Tends to fall over and takes a minute to really secure it but after that, it works well.

Once i learn a little more about camera angels I will appreciate it more.

It worked as anticipated, but because the legs are so small I was a bit concerned about the weight of the camera. I wasn't expecting it to be amazing considering the price and I was satisfied with its usefulness.

It is quite sturdy. (Note: I am using it with a smartphone.) It is quite simple to assemble, easy to carry. Stands its ground.

It is metal if that matters to you. and the clicker is usb charging. The only flaw in its design is that you cannot open it up as a tripod when it is fully closed. You must open up the tripod and thin press up the selfie extension about 1/2 an inch
