It was the neck piece so it became completely useless for anything. Unfortunately this happened after the return window to had to toss it out.

Also it is tricky to use if the phone is connected to power because of the weight. So I have to be careful when extending to max distance.

When phone holder also works with my camera tripod as well. The only problem is the ball joint in the head needs some finessing to get the tightness right.
