    I purchased this item the day before I went to Egypt & Jordan for 3 weeks. Unfortunately, the first time I used it on vacation, the unit was not sturdy enough to hold my iPhone 8 ! The screw would not stay tight enough to hold the iPhone. I returned from vacation on March 1 . Due to Best Buy’s return policy, I could not return it even though it was defective. I even emailed Bower USA but have not heard from them. Needless to say, I am very disappointed.

    Really nice tripod for the price unfortunately it did not meet by needs so I gave it away as a gift.
