Good Design Idea but Remote Doesn't Work

Work's as a selfie stick and a tripod. I was disappointed that the remote would not work. I returned this.

Some reviews said the remote doesn’t work well but I haven’t tried because I use my iwatch to take shots and timer but overall I’m satisfied with this product.

The clamp that holds the cellphone is way too tight. It's challenging trying to get my cellphone in there and praying that I don't break a nail.

Unfortunately, it has two major problems. First, it is rather unstable since the legs are short and don’t extend far from the center. Second, the head where the phone mounts is very poorly executed and won’t stay secure. When I tighten the knob, even the slightest movement causes it to come loose. In short, this item is pretty much useless.
