Bower 6-in-1 Professional 36" Tripod Review

This tripod works as intended for mobile phone use in recording videos. It is definitely not sturdy enough for a professional brand camera with a heavy lens attached. The remote provided with the tripod works as intended when paired with Bluetooth on your mobile phone. I use it at music events I attend to do FB Live videos.

Not much expensive but not good quality as it does not stand properly with my iPhone 13. falling on the side. Good for use as a selfie stick.

I really am giving it a Four and Half Stars. Only because it could not hold the weight of my phone in its case. When I wanted to take a Selfie, it kept twisting downward. I could not fully extend the stick. I also had problems with The shuttle button. Every picture I took, you can see my hand because of me pointing it towards my phone. I like it, but I did not get much use of it.

I actually really like this product. The fact that this turns into a portable phone and GoPro holder is awesome. It can even become a selfie stick. Perfect for blogging. But it doesn't end there, you can use it for a stable desk mount. Only concern was the possibility of a heavy phone tilting the top during recording but so far it has been stable. I recommend it!

Im giving 3 stars because I bought one before and ended up losing and most likely leaving it at the gym. It was sturdy as much as it could be and i never had any issues with the Bluetooth. And i loved it, and it got the job done. I was sad when i realized i lost it. I decided to buy a new one since i liked it so much…and the quality is like night and day. The bar comes out of the bottom. And i have to take time to put it back in sometimes and its a fight. It likes to fall over, i dont know why that is an issue now. I havent changed phones. It is always crooked while recording. I cant get it to stay straight. I have messed with it a million times and no matter what way, it’s crooked. If you’re going to spend the $20 or $25 on this, i’d honestly suggest spending $50 on a half decent tripod at this point.

Bought this tripod during the pandemic for virtual meetings and streaming. It is portable, and compact. The remote is a plus. The only problem with it is that with time, it becomes wobbly. With time, the pole tends to become loose so you will have a hard time adjusting and leveling the image. The tripod doesn't sit straight. Tried contacting Bower customer service after 2 months I bought and as of at the time of this review, have not heard back from them. It was good until it was new. After that, kind of disappointed, but still using it occasionally. I always get annoyed when I use it, until I get an alternative.

keeps my head up high when reading from my phone

I found that I held my phone up with my arm so I didn't look down at it and get neck ache and back ache, and I thought wouldn't it be a neat invention to have something that stuck into my recliner and held my phone up for me so my arm wouldn't get so fatigued. Then I looked at Best Buy and when I got to this product, it looked to me that my invention was already invented. So every morning I read from my phone in my chair, I close the legs of the tripod and put it down into my recliner and raise the phone to a comfortable level to read. Then when I need to read it at the computer, I pull out the legs like the illustration, and again I don't have to look down at the phone, because it is up at eye level. Even at the bank, I was able to use it to show the bank person what he needed to know from my phone on the other side of the glass. He said it worked really well for him. I've used it for a selfie stick, but daily use it to read from my phone.

I had a selfie-stick that I used for years. I accidently left it at an event I attended and it was never retrieved. I was excited to see this on the site at an affordable cost and a cool color. As long as this continues to work, I will not look for another one.

Took this on a long trip to Asia and Europe and was good for handheld phone selfies and person-in- landscape shots using the remote. It’s inexpensive so build quality feels like it won’t last many more trips. If you are taking a trip and don’t expect to use it much afterward this is a good solution. Don’t try to use it with even a compact camera because it won’t handle the weight of anything more than a smartphone or GoPro.

got this to use as a cheap desk tripod for taking pics of baseball cards to sell and trade. works well just have to be careful when moving the center pole up and down as to not break the legs. takes some fiddling with to keep everything tight and move it around position wise

If you need a Selfie stick this is what you need. If you need a tripod to take photos of a group of people this is not great. The part that holds the phone and connects to the shaft is very wobbly which makes it difficult to make the picture level. The detachable picture buttons is great.

This works like I needed it to for video calls and photos. The tripod legs aren't super steady but once you get it in a good position, it does not wobble. I was disappointed that the bluetooth remote doesn't work in apps. I can take a photo with it, but if I try to use it to start/stop a video in an app, it doesn't work. At least, I can't figure out how to make it work. But for the camera on my phone it works fine.

The tripod stand is not very sturdy depending upon the surface you are placing it on. I do like the fact that the piece that holds your phone can be removed which allows me to place it on my larger sturdy tripod. The remote feature is a big plus and it connects easily to my phone using Bluetooth. I would not buy this product again for the tripod as it's fairly useless. The remote and phone holder is the selling point.
