    These speakers sound fantastic. They were designed to be used with an amp. A receiver no matter how many watts won’t play these speakers at their potential. Fidelity is awesome. There is no colored sound everything sounds just so even and natural.

    So, these are amazing. firstly B+W do some of the finest speakers out there. Their quality is pretty consistent. These towers are the best bang for your buck. The more recent models are also fantastic, but cost almost 2x the price. These "old"er models really do the job in the most fantastic way, work well in large and small speakers and (for me) benefit from the b-wire option as well. Also of note, although they have a very simple design, I think they have a very subtly strong personality to their aesthetic. I look forward to completing my speaker set with the 600 series B+Ws.

    I bought a pair of 683s yesterday - when I installed them, the decible level in the two is not matching. one of them gives a muffeld output. I changed the L/R sides to make sure that the issue is not with the receiver. BTW, I have Pioneer 5.1 channel receiver. How do I get help?
