Honestly, just needed more power. This is nice sounding, but you have to turn it too high and it struggles with the deep bass. Returned ours.

For the price this B&W subwoofer is weak. It’s probably great for an apartment but from a house or you main home theater system you can do a lot better. Weak bass and almost detracts from movies and music because it sounds a little artificial. I love my B&W tower speakers and center channel but I can’t recommend this sub.

One month old and it has developed a very annoying rattle around the driver. This was purchased as a replacement for the same model which died after about 2 years of moderate use. No more B&W for me, this one is going back to the store.

Order Nov 18. No delivery. They have them for sale but can’t deliver mine. Refund was supposed to be last week. No refund. Very disappointed

Coming from a 12” sub, this 8” sub sounds amazing for size. After a remodel we needed a smaller sub and a friend recommended this item. When watching movies or sports this 8” sub puts out just the right amount of deep bass to fill our large living room just fine. At one point, I turned the volume down on the back of the sub as it was a bit too much bass for my kids. The only reason I would even consider the 10” would be for an extra large room or if I really wanted incredibly deep bass to come closer to what the 12” sub sounded like. However, I feel like this 8” produces a nice clean bass which sounds great for watching movies, stresming shows, or when the kids play video games.

Nice size and power for our living room surround system. Puts out great sound without crowding the room. High quality tech.

This a very capable sub with plenty of power to rattle the walls but try to spend sometime fine tuning it and you’ll get low frequencies as they were really meant to be heard! Rumbling the entire house during your favorite movies is lots fun but this is also a very musical subwoofer and it will pay off to spend some time setting it up the right way..Trust me!

This thing is an absolute monster. Unbelievable how much power in this sub. I have the B&W set up in my media room. My Magnolia sales rep told me the sound was more important than the picture. I’m a believer now. I now have a bonafide theatre in my house. I couldn’t be more how. Don’t be cheap and buy B&W you won’t regret it.

Excellent. Tight and musical. Won’t rock the house for heavy cinema, but will add bottom end for small speakers.

Complete your system! Added too B&W satellites with Rotel amp. Good to go from Beethoven to Black Sabbath...

Great sub woofer for a surround sound system. Clear and plenty strong for movie watching.

I purchased two of these for my home theater setup in July 2023. Both of the subs have a very bad rattling sound when in use (based on my research it sounds like a manufacting issue with the drivers). The manufacturer offered to have me pay for shipping so they can repair the subs but considering the weight and cost its not worth it. Save yourself the headache prucase from a better manufacturer. If you do purchase these, DONT BUY FROM BEST BUY. If you have an issue you cant call the store for help, it goes to an offshore call center that cant authorize anything outside of their standard policies. I'll be heading into the store to see if they can help but would be nice if they took calls in store. Hopefully my last trip to best buy.

Best Buy told me this would work with my Bose sound bar. It didn't, it won't. After a lot of hassle, I returned it. Best Buy could not come up with an alternative.
