The Bowers & Wilkins - 600 Series HTM62 S2 Dual 5" 2-Way Center-Channel Speaker has great sound, but it is quite large, so make sure you have a place for it before buying.

Poor installation by geek squad. Charge high price to install, but lack installation knowledge. System broke down less than 24 hours after installation. Left with a $1000 bill, but non working system. Poor support from geek squad.

Blows Away Martin Logan Motion-8 Center

I originally bought the Martin Logan Motion-8. When I got it home the Motion-8 looked good but I wasn't too impressed. After researching and going back to listen to Bowers and Wilkins I am now a true believer. Nothing can touch Bowers and Wilkins. This center is amazing when paired with B&W 685 S2 fronts. I dare any movie theater to try and compare. My home theater trumps anything a downtown theater can throw at you. Don't squander over a $50 price difference between the ML. Buy Bowers and Wilkins and ONLY Bowers and Wilkins!

    What a Difference!

I had a problem with intelligibility of speech for watching TV and movies. On the recommendation of the Magnolia system designer, I purchased the HTM62 center speaker and mounted it below my wide-screen TV. I was concerned about the cost, but this speaker has turned out to be worth every penny. I now understand every word as the speech is crystal clear. I could not be happier.

    Great Center

My first center channel was a sound plate from LG. LG has nothing on this center channel. The voices are clear, crisp, full bodied, and are audible at all volume levels. I matched these up with a pair of B&W 685 bookshelf speakers. Amazing sound.

I originally installed the CM series in my living room but after a conversation with a Geek Squad employee I switch to the 600 series and have never looked back.

Sounds great with the 683. Just make sure you have a good amp to power this speaker because the 683 and the HTM62 sure needs it.

A really good, well build center channel speaker. I am using this with 685 S2s along with Onkyo TX NR535 receiver. This rig sounds great.

    Great center channel

I'm running this along with a pair of 683 S2s. According to the B&W website, I should be using the bigger center channel but unfortunately, it just won't fit in my entertainment center. Being a little skeptical, I was ready to return it if it didn't work out, but it works really well! It pairs nicely, although I did adjust it by +2 so it would be less overpowered by the right and left channels. Dialogue is very clear. I also set my crossover frequency at 80Hz after speaking with B&W. For the value, this can't be beat!

    It's good, not great

It's really a 3.5 rating. This is a good center channel, but easily the weakest part of my system I feel like. I have 684 s2 for fronts and 686 s2 for the backs. The center channel is overmatched IMO. Dialog can get lost really easily. If I could do it over, I would get the HTM61 s2. I suggest others do the same.

Replaced a Bowers & Wilkins M1 used as a center channel. The Htm62 is worth it for the price. Crisp sound and pairs well with my side speakers that are Bowers & Wilkins too.
