I purchased this speaker to run with my 600-series speakers. It was a little bit of a pain to set up since you had to download a special app, but I was able to get it tuned to the room. The sound was excellent and filled the room, especially for movies (main focus for my sound system). Shortly after the 2-year mark, there started being a pop sound when the amp powered off. After a couple months of this, it went to a white noise with no other output. I worked with B&W support to troubleshoot the problem and after a month or so of trying different solutions (all via email), I was never successful in getting the amp to work. Because the powered subwoofer started having problems outside of the 2-year warranty, they (tech support) would not provide any warranty coverage. Additionally, there were no repair facilities in Alaska and I would have to ship it out of state, receive a quote and then decide to repair and pay to ship back. All of this was frustrating and I went back to my old subwoofer from Cambridge.
