Great sound, 8 hours, lightweight, comfortable. Very happy with this purchased, I thought there's nothing better than Bose, but they are as good.

Wireless earbuds a dime a dozen nowadays, but when it comes to actual sound quality in headphones you can always look to Bowers & Wilkins. That is no different here as the sound quality is most definitely what sets these earbuds apart from competitors.
First, right out of the box though these headphones have a very minimalistic yet premium look and feel which is much appreciated as they provide a very discreet look in your ears. When putting these in you do have to use a slight twist which helps provide a better seal for the noise cancelation which I will discuss later. As with most earbuds today there are multiple ear tip sizes included to ensure the appropriate fit for you. Once getting them in they are extremely comfortable as due to the plastic design they are very lightweight which allows for longer sessions of listening. This plastic design does not hinder the premium look and feel of the earbuds though as Bowers & Wilkins have done a great job combining aesthetics with function here.
The other thing to mention is the setup process and the use of the app. This was a great experience as, yes everyone/everything has an app nowadays, but Bowers & Wilkins has done a great job keeping the app simple and easy to use. The app first walks you through the setup process where you can sync the earbuds to multiple devices and customize the touch gestures for each earbud. Also while mentioning the app it is good to note here that within the app it allows you to control the active noise cancellation and your various EQ settings to which I will say the EQ settings are great as it solely focuses on the bass and treble to keep things as simple as possible for users. Additionally within the app it does show the battery life and allows you to control your music.
Onto the actual performance though as that is where these earbuds really standout! Again, this is definitely where Bowers & Wilkins put their focus as the sound is extremely rich in detail and very well balanced! The detail you hear with the mids to the clarity of the highs paired with a full bass really sets the stage for perfect sounding earbuds. Everything I threw at these earbuds from acoustic tracks to edm they passed with flying colors to which one of the most prominent things was the fact that there was no distortion at all.
Also when it comes to performance all high end earbuds have active noise cancellation and here Bowers & Wilkins has definitely checked that box. Where they stand out is actually in the transparency mode as it feels extremely natural and not as forced as some other earbuds, which is difficult to describe without actually hearing it for yourself. In addition to these two features I will say that the call quality is right on par with what you would expect as I didn`t have any issues on my end and when I asked those on the other side they said everything sounded great and there was very little background noise if any in all the calls I took with them. So that just leaves the battery life which the 8 hour battery life seemed about on par with the 16 hours of charging available from the case to bring it to 24 hours that was fairly close to what I have experienced so again there are no issues in this respect either.
Overall, when it comes to earbuds for me I`m most concerned with appearance and sound quality to which Bowers & Wilkins is at the top of the mountain here in those two respects. With the elegance in their appearance to the superb sound quality there is nothing further you could ask for in a pair of earbuds. The various features check all the boxes as compared to other earbuds, but again from an aesthetic and audio quality standpoint I would highly recommend this pair of earbuds.

These are in ear monitors, meaning the tip needs to be inside your ear canal. The fit is important for good sound. They are like wearing ear plugs. And are nothing like Apple's air pods and most of the other earphones for sale now that just sit in your ear. There are several sets of different sized tips for different ears. Bowers & Wilkins missed by not including a set of Comply foam tips.
I happen to really love in ear monitors, they stay put a lot better, they physically reduce noise, and I can wear them for a long time. These fit nicely.
Sound
These are sumptuous, buttery smooth, clear, beautiful headphones. Call quality is remarkable, as if you are talking directly into the phone. Noise cancellation is acceptable, not perfect but quite good. Sound quality improves dramatically when noise cancellation is turned off (that's pretty common).
Build Quality
Absolutely stunning devices. The case is a pleasure to hold. The earphones latch seamlessly. The cover closes with a satisfying click. The earphones feel solid, like they will last a long time. I dislike the noise they make whenever touched or tapped to perform tasks - the generated sound is weird, and the hollow mechanical noise is annoying.
Tech Support
You never hope to need tech support, but Bowers & Wilkins delivered superbly. Support is not outsourced, so communication and understanding is easy. They stick with an issue until it is resolved, as in multiple call backs (all done exactly as promised) and hours spent troubleshooting. One channel would randomly cut out whenever I was moving around and bending over (I happened to be belt sanding my deck while wearing these). After many many attempts to fix the issue, and escalating to higher levels, we finally reached the impasse - ship it back and they will repair it. Oddly, shortly after that decision, a firmware update solved the problem, no need to ship them back. This is really great technical support.
Issues I Don't Like
The case has to be plugged into a USB C port to charge. It does not wirelessly charge.
I really want the Comply foam inserts, the earphones would fit far better.
The tapping noise is annoying.
While wearing these, they decided to randomly try to do FaceTime calls with my contacts. I can't figure out why or how it did this, but it was super annoying.
The whole tap to do things is super complicated and not even remotely intuitive. I still can't figure out how to raise or lower the volume tapping the devices. And the printed instructions are impossible to understand, they are icons with no words.
The app is required to make setting changes; noise cancelling, tone, tap sequences, etc.
Overall, these are solid in ear monitors. You have to love having something in your ear canal. The sound is remarkable.

I was excited to get these Bowers and Wilkins earbuds as I have had a couple of over-the-ear headsets in the past that I really enjoyed due to the superior build and sound. With these Pi6 True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear, I was expecting the same. Sadly, this was not the case.
I received these about a week ago and spent the past week listening to them both as my daily work earbuds for zoom meetings as well as phone calls, music and audiobooks. Again my expectations were really high but was frustrated with them.
The Good:
These are really nice looking earbuds. The shape contours with my ears well. I feel that they are solidly built. The top surface is really responsive to my finger touch for the various controls. When listening to the various calls on zoom/phone, the people's voices comes out nice and clear and crisp. The microphones on these also pick up my voice well and the clarity is amazing. When listening to music and audiobooks, the sound is just very impressive. Sounds and music is very precise, and the noise cancelling is just amazing. It is able to lower the surrounding noise well that also adjusts to the environment around me. With other competitors anc, these don't give me that suctioning feeling and I can still hear what is around me but very muted.
The case is also nicely built and charges quickly. In just a 15 minute charge, I am able to get about an hour's worth of battery life. On a full charge, these buds last about 8 hours of use (the most I've gone listening was on a long 1.5 hour drive with lot of batter life left).
The Bad:
They are not the most easy to connect earbuds. As I mentioned earlier, I already had a pair of over the ear headsets so I have the app already. When you initially set this up, there is no button on the case. It is very bare of anything except the one indicator light. I was struggling trying to connect this with my bluetooth. It took a few times of closing my app and opening again before it was able to pick it up and connect. This was a frustrating process which I felt it could've been lessened had there already been a power button.
Also, these are ergonomically designed which I value tremendously. They contour my ear shape well. The problem is the material they use on these, they are very slippery in my ear. There are different silicone ear piece sizes but the standard medium-sized ones that are already installed are the best fit. There are no wingtips on these so with some sudden movement, they feel like they are being dislodged. I did several motions that required my head to have some movement: running, pushups, sit-ups, looking left and right. With these movements, they feel like they are about to fall out. So this was very disappointing as I would have liked maybe a stem design or probably wingtips.
Overall, these are very good in-ear earbuds with noise cancelling. They are of solid build with amazing sound quality. I was just a little disappointed with the fit and connectivity of them. Once they were connected I feel that these are good for my office calls or when driving, but for me, not when I am exercising or doing strenuous activities.

The Bowers & Wilkins earbuds are a fantastic product and I love them! For the short time that I’ve owned them, they have quickly become my go-to earbuds.
I have used these buds for extended listening hours and their comfort level is fantastic. They fit well and don't cause ear-fatigue. I usually use them while cycling or walking during my exercise routines and they feel great.
One awesome feature which I love is the active noise cancellation. They are really effective in canceling out extraneous noises during my listening sessions. The call quality during my conversations is clear, concise and crisp . The earbuds have clean highs, really nice bass and nice mid ranges. My music comes alive and my listening pleasure is amazing.
Battery life is solid, providing 8 hours of earbud life and if stored in its charging case affords a total of 24 hours of playback on a single charge. The fast charging feature is definitely something I particularly enjoy and having 24 hours of playback time ensures you have enough juice to last through the entire day. A quick 15 minute charge gives you 2 hours of listening pleasure.
Noteworthy is this product is backed by a full 2 year parts and labor warranty. In this day and age, it’s wonderful to see a manufacturer that warrants their product for more than a year!
Overall, I love these earbuds! In my opinion , they are top-of-line and posses superior listening qualities which are hard to beat. Love them, buy them and enjoy pure listening pleasure

After using the Bowers & Wilkins Pi6 True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds for a week, I can say that they are a solid choice for those looking for high-quality wireless audio earbuds. I’ve tried and had a few earbuds in the past 6 years. Every year there are small improvements in technology that make it worth buying a new set.
First, the fit is noticeably more secure compared to others. Whether I'm at the gym or just walking around, I never had to worry about them falling out, which is a big plus for me. It’s a really good balance of sound and fit.
In terms of audio quality, these earbuds are definitely on the better side. (I’ve tried many) The sound is rich and detailed, with good bass and clarity. Whether I’m listening to music or watching videos, the audio experience is solid. Noise-cancellation works quite well too, making it easier to block out distractions. After wearing them for 2 to 3 hours my ears don’t feel sore or tired.
Bluetooth pairing was easy and simple. The earbuds connected seamlessly to my devices right out of the box, and I haven’t experienced any disconnections or dropouts while using the earbuds. I left my laptop up stairs and was able to walk around my house with some distortion but over all pretty solid distance.
Battery life say on the box 8 hours. I haven’t “tested” to 8 hours but can confidently say its over 6 hours.
Overall, the Bowers & Wilkins Pi6 is a high-quality, well-rounded set of earbuds, combining secure fit, and great audio quality

I recently got these earbuds, and I can say that I am happy with my purchase. First of all the color is appealing and the item color matches exactly with the product description on the website. I like its cloud grey since I can match it easily with my phone case or watch band. Second, It is light weight and I really do not feel anything when it is in my ears. Third, the sound quality is acceptable. I have had so many earbuds from different brands then I cannot tell that this one was the best that I has ever had, however I cannot point any negative point about its sound quality as the voice is clear and easy to hear. I mostly like its noise cancelling feature which works well. Fourth, the touch control works well. So far, I have never had any issue with connecting or disconnecting my phone calls. Fifth, Battery life is acceptable. I have to recharge it every 10 hours, but it gets recharged quickly. Sixth, the earbuds are comfortable and easy to use. Their size is perfect as it fits well in my ears and never falls off. All in all I am happy with this product and I can recommend it to people based on experience with its durability, sound quality and battery life.

Initial Impressions:
The Bowers & Wilkins Pi6 earbuds are great with music, good with phone, about average with noise cancelation, have terrible wireless range, and are the most comfortable B&W earbuds I have had the pleasure of using. The touch controls take a little getting used to but are fully functional and easy to learn. The B&W app is disappointingly basic for such a capable product. The battery life is excellent. And the charging case fits easily and comfortably into my pocket. Overall, I think these are excellent ear buds for the money.
Music:
Musically, these earbuds are excellent! It is what the Pi6’s does the best. Bass is clear, sharp, and not bloated. Mids and highs are detailed and balanced. I started with Indigo Girl’s “Closer to Fine”. I was listening for the strums on the guitars, the decay of the notes, and guitar separation. I could even pick out some knocking on the side of one of the guitars towards the end of the song. Each string, the decay of the chords, and the separation of each guitar was excellent, clear, present in the sound stage, and much better than what I hear from most ear buds. I moved onto Air Supplies, “Every Woman in the World” for their wonderful male vocals. And the Pi6’s delivered the goods. Male vocals were clear, crips, well balanced, and simply fun to listen to. I then moved onto Megan Trainer’s, “Made you Look” the acapella version and not that gross, watered down version she released a while back. What a vocal delight. The Pi6’s did an excellent with the male and female harmonies while also doing an excellent job of properly resolving each voice. For example, there are moments when the male voices join the female voices in harmony. They sound amazing together while at the same time resolved enough that you can still pick out each voice in the sound scape. And they sound wonderful.
From here I moved onto the title piece on the original soundtrack for Pacific Rim. This is one of my new audio testing tracks. This piece has everything from screaming guitars, brass horns, drums, synthesizers, violines, and layers upon layers of musical themes all weaving in and out of each other. This is what a movie soundtrack should sound like! And it sounded every bit like the movie with the Pi6’s. This was not as big of a sound as what over ear headphones or a proper stereo or home theater system can replicate. But it’s still really good and engaging. “Drift” by Blake Periman featuring RZA is the closing credits song from the same movie. The female vocals are full of ghostly yearning and pain. The bass beat is so heavy that I could feel it in my head. Again, the Pi6’s can really deliver the bass.
For fun, I threw on Boney M’s Rasputin. What a fun song this is. It starts out with an amazing drum solo. Then is joined by what I am guessing are Turkish guitars. Followed by male and female vocals. Then by chanting men followed by a rocking 70’s rock track. I have used this track for many headphones and earbuds. Fantastic!
I finally wrapped up my musical audition with some classical music, heavy-fisted club music, and even some organ music. The Pi6’s supplied enough bass to both build a foundation and then support the rest of the music. And this was demonstrated beautifully with Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue in D Minor, BWV 565. The Pi6’s handled everything wonderfully.
Voice and phone calls:
Phone calls were handled very well by the Pi6’s. Receiving voices were clear and without any audible artifacts. Transmission was a bit of a mixed bag. One caller described me as sounding far away. Other callers described me as sounding natural. Overall, I got more compliments than complaints.
Noise Canceling:
Noise canceling is also a mixed bag but seems on par with most earbuds I have owned. Steady, white noise kinds of sounds were handled the best. I work from home most days. My home office is just off the kitchen. One afternoon I had the dish washer running, a air purifier running at medium speed next to me, and my laptop’s fan blowing at full speed. The noise was slightly muted with just having the earbuds in with no noise canceling on. The noise was mostly muted with noise canceling turned on. And I heard nothing with the music on.
The Pi6’s had a more difficult time in a less steady environment such as a school bus. The noise of people talking, bumps in the road, the general groaning of the bus it bounced down the road were only slightly muted with noise cancellation turned on. I noticed that the Pi6’s overcompensated with hard hitting sounds such as the bus hitting a pothole. I eventually turned off the noise cancellation because the effect was very uncomfortable.
Pass through:
The audio pass through is good. Everything around me sounds natural. However, my own voice does take on a slight, “fingers in my ears” quality that has the effect of making me speak slightly louder than I should. Otherwise, I find it quite good. I can hear everything going on in the house with the music and voice off. Some sounds, like fan noise, are a bit off and sometimes over exaggerated. But, for the most part, I can hear what I need to hear. The pass through will allow sounds to penetrate the ear while listening to music. The Pi6’s can play loud enough to drown out the pass through. There is no function in the B&W app to adjust the volume of the pass through.
Final note. Noise cancellation increases the sound pressure in the ear. This is something that I can feel. Turning off Noise Cancellation takes me from pressure to plugged ears. Turning on the pass through strangely provides some relief to my ears from the other two settings. It is like I took my fingers out of my ears.
Wireless Range.
Wireless range is the perhaps the worst I have ever experienced with ear buds. I normally use the Pi8’s in my home office. My kitchen is the next room over. Not even 20 feet. I can risk disrupting my connection to my phone while refilling my water glass at the refrigerator. I will have disruptions if there is a wall between the Pi6’s and the phone. And I will lose connection if I move outside of 20 feet with an obstruction between us. I do not live in a big house. With clear line of site, I cannot stand at one end of my home with my phone on the other end without experiencing some audible connectivity issue. The solution to this issue is simple. Keep the phone on my person, or with me at my desk, while using the Pi6’s. However, grabbing my phone to take with me is not always top of mind or practical.
Touch Controls:
Touch controls are limited but work well. It takes no pressure to activate the touch control. Tap on either ear bud will start/pause music or answer/hang up a voice call. Tap and hold is programable between Noise Cancellation/digital assistant and volume controls. For some reason the Pi6 cannot handle both. Double trap will skip ahead on the play list and triple tap will drop back to the previous musical track.
Comfort:
I personally cannot wear earbuds, regardless of shape or comfort, for more than two hours. I get ear fatigue from most earbuds at the thirty-minute mark. I can wear the Pi6’s for the full two hours before I need to take a break.
The Pi6’s also does an excellent job of staying in my ears. I wore these for housework, moving furniture, and doing yard work for two days without any slips. They didn’t even get loose in my ears, which I find amazing since they do not have little flanges or stabilizers to speak of. The little rubber tips are just the rights size to keep these in my ears. Chewing is one action that often pushes earbuds right out of my ears. They stayed in my ears and maintained a great seal. At no time did I need to re-adjust or tighten the Pi6’s to remain in my ears. I’m not sure what Voodoo magic B&W pulled off here but it’s working.
Conclusion:
I could probably go on another few pages about the Pi6’s but I don’t have the room. Bottom line: fantastic, full range audio at all volumes and with all genres, great fit, solid noise canceling though situation dependent, solid sound pass through, clear calls, poor wireless range, and anemic but serviceable app. For ear buds, these are a lot of fun to own.

The Bowers and Wilkins Pi6 Earbuds fit in the ear comfortably (for me, anyway) and seem to hold in well. I had an older pair of over the ear headphones I loved from Bowers & Wilkins, so my expectations were high for these based on that. The sound quality on the Pi6 is very good, however, at the same price (as of this writing) you can find better quality (to my personal taste) sound earbuds from other companies. In comparison, I played back a few songs repeatedly through both the Pi6 and a similar priced alternate earbud, even repeatedly playing like the same 10 seconds of songs--- and both the bass and treble sounded better on the other ones. On the Pi6, I did go into the user equalizer settings and experimented with the treble and bass settings while music was playing, and while they had an effect, these earbuds seemed optimized for the middle (0 on treble and bass).
Separate from sound quality, when I first set them up, they paired on both Bluetooth and the app connected them on Bluetooth Low Energy, and this resulted in repeated reconnection attempts between the two separate connections (Yes, Settings->Bluetooth on the phone showed two separate connection devices for the Pi6, which it was switching between). This meant that while I was listening to music, I'd continually hear the connection tones in the earbuds. Unpairing and repairing them manually seemed to fix that. After resolving that, one earbud continually cut out for a while. I then left them overnight in the charging case (being frustrated) in case the earbuds themselves had low batteries somehow. The next day they were fine, however after about 30 minutes use the right earbud did start to cut in and out again (they were fine for 20-30 minutes before that).
I was somewhat disappointed in these, both because I had better expectations for the brand (based on previous use), and because of the difficulties with set-up and the earbuds cutting out a little too often.

Bowers & Wilkins is known for exceptional sounding speakers and headphones, and the Pi6 earbuds are no exception.
The Pi6 come in a relatively small form factor, with no protruding teardrop microphones or large speaker housing. This allows for a streamlined esthetic, a look which continues with a choice of four colors and a subtle “Bowers & Wilkins” in small letters. Well balanced and lightweight, the Pi6 fit securely and comfortably in the ear. At no time have I felt as if they would come loose in every day use (moving about inside, hiking outside). They’re easy to wear for hours at a time with no fatigue. They’re the most comfortable earbuds I own.
Active noise cancellation is quite good, although there are just three settings rather than a sliding dial. Still, three settings is plenty for most of us. I found that on the ANC setting the Pi6 effectively blocked out street noises while outside and the sound of a vacuum cleaner while working.
With support for the aptX Adaptive codec, the Bluetooth connection is crystal clear with no transmission delays. aptX Classic, AAC, and SBC codecs are also supported. Multipoint connectivity is available for two concurrent devices. The issue with the Pi6 Bluetooth is range. It cuts out at distances that my other Bluetooth headsets easily support, and does not automatically reconnect when back in range.
Other than Bluetooth range, the app is the other area where things do fall down a bit. While I’m not one for complicated controls, there simply aren’t a lot of options. As noted above, there are only three ANC settings, on, pass-through, and off. And the graphic equalizer supports just two tone adjustments, bass and treble. At this price point I would expect a parametric equalizer with a minimum of five settings. You cannot store multiple profiles for different say, music, audio books, and movies, or multiple environments, such as airplane, train, home, or walking.
Now, to the most important part of the review. The reason anyone buys Bowers & Wilkins is the audio quality. The Pi6 do not disappoint. The default setting is bass-heavy. This can be adjusted to a more neutral tone in the app, something you will probably want to do right away. The sound is crisp and individual notes are extremely well defined. With a remarkably wide sound stage, instrument separation is excellent. You can hear the pick hitting the string on guitar pieces, and every note in a bass run is clear and distinct. You’ll pick out parts of a song that were hidden with less accurate headphones.
Overall, these are beautiful sounding earbuds with long-lasting comfort. If the Bluetooth range and app restrictions get fixed with a software update they will easily warrant five stars.

The setup was a pain to due getting stuck in a loop. I was able to connect successfully, but I accidently clicked on "add more" and now I can't get out of it. Trying to cancel only brings me back to the beginning of the pairing process.
The only way to get out of the endless loop was to actually re-pair the buds even though they were already paired. It probably been easier to pair without the app.
Once the pairing was done, I started listening to music via Spotify. The sound quality was just ok, but making eq adjustments in the app made a world of difference.
Now, I am enjoying the music and I am playing with the noise cancelling and voice assistant controls which works well, but I am unable to adjust the volume.
After looking at the app I realize I have to customize the controls to control the volume via touch controls. So I can either control the volume OR the noise cancelling\voice assistant but not BOTH at the same time. This is a huge negative to me. I planned on using these earbuds for my gym workouts, so now I guess which configuration works better for me. I'm disappointed, but I can work around it.
I do like the case and how easily the earbuds fit with the magnet. The case and earbuds are very good quality and I would recommend to a friend. I am only giving this four stars because the app could use some work. Was the app ever tested? Two words - QA Department.

I picked up the pi6 headphones because of the quality of sound of the old pi5's that I have. The pi5's were not one of my favorites due to bulkness and not a great fit in my ear. My son uses them more than I do. I wanted to see if they had improved these, and I believe they listened. First, my big pet peeve of the pi5, they did not allow for volume control on the earbuds. These do. They allow you to toggle the long hold to either volume or your assistant of choice. I don't use voice assistants, so no loss for me. Now for the redesign, the fit is 100 times better. These settle in my ear, are lighter and the touch controls work better. The case is a bit slimmer as the earbuds are smaller, but the case lost the wireless charge function. Only the pi8 has that now. This uses yet another app instead of the old bowers & wilkins app the pi 5 uses. The noise cancellation is excellent, and this does have a two band equalizer I can play with. Really, I end up using the default 0 setting on most things. The sound on these is just better mixed/balanced. Clear with good low end and vocal/trebel separation. The algorithm they uses here is the one that was used in the pi7, now in the lower model pi6, and the pi8 has a tweak on this firmware. The calls are clear, and easy to answer. Unlike the old brethren, these are going to work their way into the headphone rotation for me. Again this is a premium price, and the sound is there, along with good function. Are there likely going to be less expensive alternatives that are available that sound as good, yes. But the current price here is the range where equivalent premium brands are. However I cannot fault these in a way that I can give this less than 5 stars. I would only take ½ star if I did anything for not having wireless charging like the pi5,7, and 9’s, but I’ll round up. I do recommend these.

The Pi6 True Wireless earbuds are my second product from Bowers & Wilkins, the first being their Px7 S2 over ear headphones and I’m torn.
The buds connected to my phone without incident and immediately appeared in the app which was already installed from my previous headphones.
Starting with the positive, the Bowers & Wilkins Pi6 earbuds sound amazing. Rich deep bass, crisp highs and solid midtones. The volume is the loudest I’ve seen in earbuds. The app does give you the option to adjust the sound with its equalizer but it only adjusts bass and treble. I like heavier bass and sliding it up a couple of notches was perfect for me.
Noise cancellation is very strong and drowns out everything during my subway commute. Passthrough is decent enough to have a conversation when the volume is low but gets drowned out easily at higher volume levels.
During phone conversations I was heard well with no background noise or sounding like I was in a tunnel. There is no side tone though so I found myself speaking a bit louder than normal conversation.
Battery life is rated at 8 hours for the buds and an additional two charges in the case for up to 24 hours of playback time. Full charges take about 2 hours and there is a 15 minute quick charge that will get you a couple of hours of run time. I was disappointed that the app never showed the buds to have more than 93% charge, even after charging the case and buds. There is no option in the app to see the charge of the case, just the buds. Another disappointment is the lack of wireless charging.
The buds come with four sizes of silicone tips but I struggled with finding a size that felt like it fit my ears correctly. Because of the design, the buds fit deep into your ear canal which is the only support keeping them in place. They never fell out but numerous times felt like I could hear around the seal. There is no fit test option in the app to verify a good seal. Once I found the best size tip the buds were pretty comfortable even after several hours of listening.
The app does give you a couple of options but is pretty minimal in the settings. The buds chime to indicate changes in ANC and bluetooth pairing. I would have preferred voice prompts at this price point. The main page of the app is dedicated to various streaming services that offer higher quality streaming like Tidal and Deezer with the concept of being your one stop shop for enjoying your music. I did notice on several occasions that the app seemed to be disconnected from the buds even though they were still connected to the phone.
The buds do offer touch control but unlike most of the previous earbuds I’ve tried, you have to choose between ANC/Voice Assistant or volume control. They also offer playback and call control.
I struggle recommending the Pi6 earbuds. The sound is excellent but at this price point, they are playing in the premium space but lack many of the more premium features like multi-band equalizer, wireless charging, touch control options and lack of voice feedback prompts. If you are looking for great sounding earbuds, the Pi6 is worth considering but from a value perspective, I feel there are better options available. I give the Bowers & Wilkins Pi6 three stars and unfortunately, would not recommend them to most people.

Bowers & Wilkins - Pi6 True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Earbuds
These ear buds come really nicely package and the case for them has a lovely soft feel plus it is magnetic so holds the cover closed very well. There are several choices for the ear bud pads but the ones that came with them fit my ears well.
There is a USB C cable for charging. I am not a fan of earbuds since I can never get them to fit properly & I fear that they will fall out but with these earbuds, it was like they were custom fit for my ears. They feel secure and I really like them. I also typically struggle with connecting via Bluetooth but I got these connected immediately. And then the sound, oh my gosh it is just outstanding. There is a deep, rich sound that is just great. These earbuds came already charged so I could use them immediately. I hadn’t even read the instructions yet and I was immediately enjoying the rich sound of music that comes from these earbuds. They are simply delightful. The battery life is rated for 8 hours.

The Pi6 is a stylish, high performing set of earbuds that unfortunately also caused me a fair bit of frustration.
The first three days I had them, I was somewhat less than impressed. The large earbud bodies are a bit oddly weighted compared to what I'm used to, causing the right one to fall out a few times when I went walking around the neighborhood. The audio was frequently crackly and prone to dropping out every few minutes. And the touch controls seemed prone to triggering at the drop of a hat. I came close to giving up, but decided to persevere.
Eventually I got used to the way they sit in my ears, re-paired them with my phone a few times, and redownloaded the B&W app and discovered that when they're working right, there's quite a lot to like. The earbuds offer clear and crisp sound (though admittedly slightly lacking in bass response compared to some.) They do an excellent job blocking out ambient noise. Audio quality on calls is excellent, as is environmental passthrough. and once you get used to how sensitive it is, the touch controls on the sides are very pleasantly responsive.
I would still hesitate to recommend them to everyone. I still wouldn't trust them to stay in my ears while jogging, for instance, and I'm not entirely sure what to make of the initial connectivity problems I had. These are definitely more for the audiophile or fashionista looking for something small and portable to wear during a morning train ride or slip into a carry on bag for the plane. But they do certainly sound good.

The Bowers & Wilkins Pi6 True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Earbuds are a nice set of headphones. The case and earbuds come in a Cloud Grey color. The earbuds come well packaged and everything is laid out and easy to understand. Included inside the box is a USB-C cable and Quick Start guide instructions. The quick guide instructions has a QR code that you will scan with your device, which will allow you to download the Music Bowers & Wilkins app. The app allows you to easily pair the earbuds to your device during initial setup. Using the app to setup by earbuds was flawless. I did not run into any issues as I created an account and setup my earbuds. The app allows me to adjust the EQ settings and update the software if there’s a software update available. The EQ settings are somewhat limited. I was presented with only two sliders. One for Bass and the other for Treble. The earbuds feature Noise Cancelling Technology which works well. The earbud controls are pretty standard, such as tap to pause/play, double tap to forward to next track, and triple track to play previous track. The earbuds allow you to adjust the playback volume by pressing and holding the left earbud to decrease the volume and pressing and holding the right earbud to increase the volume. The case is solid and the earbuds fit into the case magnetically without any issues. My ears tend to get a bit fatigued if I wear them for too long. I would assume this may vary from user to user. Overall, I like the sound quality these earbuds provide.

Bowers & Wilkins has always been a favorite audio brand for me. I have had the pleasure of owning many products from them, from speakers to headphones. They always met the standard I held them to. These ear buds by them, however, fall a bit short in my opinion. They have lots of feature, which all work but they lack in a couple areas. Now, like I stated earlier, I hold a company such as Bowers & Wilkins to a higher standard as that is what they have always delivered. The biggest features of these ear buds would be the noise cancelling, the ability to be used with the app, the fast charging and the sound quality itself. The fast charging works well and truly is pretty quick. The app, used on my phone, works well and paired quickly and easily. I enjoy the ability to stream directly from the app and do my adjustments and such on it as well. This is definitely a cool feature. Now, the sound quality and noise cancelling, to me, fall short. I feel, while the sound is good, it is not up to par with the standard I hold Bowers & Wilkins to. The same goes for the noise cancelling. While it does work, it doesn't drown out the outside noise as well as I feel it should. These earbuds compare to many others on the market at the same price point. I feel there are even better sounding ones, from other brands, that aren't as well known in the audio world like B&W is. Overall, these are good ear buds for the average user but for someone looking for normal B&W sound quality, I don't feel these are it.
