Customers are enthusiastic about the exceptional sound quality, comfort, and commendable battery life. They also appreciate the bass-heavy default setting, improved fit, good design, and effective Active Noise Cancellation. However, some users have noted connectivity issues and find the price to be a drawback. Minor concerns include the lack of touch controls and a somewhat lacking companion app.

Warning to those who buy this! The headphones have a break in period of about 1-2 days (2-4 hours of listening) so when you first get them give them a few days. Once you get past that you will hear things so clearly. Sound signature is about half way in between Bose QC and apple AirPods Max. What I mean by that is that it has the warmth of the Bose headphones without the muddy textures. On the flip side it has the sound accuracy of the AirPods Max but more of a record player warmth. USB-c to iPhone 15 is compatible, sound quality much better corded but still amazing over Bluetooth. Comfortable, not as heavy as AirPods Max, with better build quality. The only thing that is subpar is the noise cancelling. It’s enough to drown out plane noise but it’s no where near as good as Bose. That being said, if you value sound quality over noise cancellation, these are for you. Price isn’t great but customer service makes up for it. Overall if you are an audiophile they are great headphones, and A worth while upgrade to get away from the big 2 (Bose and apple)

I was contemplating to buy px8 or focal bathys. comapring them and watching reviews it is almost a toss up between these two maybe bathys slight edge. Px8 is significantly better looks than focal and sale price on black friday was tempting to buy it. I own focal eligia so i am familiar with focal sound. I find px8 a bit more slimmer vs focal. I am in break in period so it will get better like any headphones. Connects easy to iphone. Sound is better with high res audio from amazon hd service i have noticed better sound details. 1-2 hours is max i have used and i want to take them out for a breather i dont think any headphones will be good for 3-4 hours continuous use the pressure build up on head needs a beeak, the quality of sound is really depends on input it was quite evident in my listneing. I have momentum 3 as othe NC headphones. A decent NC is good enough for my use as i am not going to use in airplane or very noisy environment. In airplane use airpod pro is winner portability and quality of NC has no match. I think $700 is high price for it $500 is ok with quality of sound and finish. I chose the tan color just for a change from black headphones i have owned.

These headphones are definitely on the pricier side, but they offer incredible value for those who truly appreciate high-quality audio. The Supersoft padding on these cans provides perfect separation between you and outside world, even when you do not use the active noise cancelation. Few sounds make it through, so you don't have to blast your music to tune out the world. These headphones excel in the comfort area. The leather earpieces and a light metal frame are staying securely in place when using the cans! The sound is high quality. While using the mobile app base and treble can be adjusted, however, these are not the booming-techno-music headphones. These were designed for audiophiles. The sound is velvety rich!

I never really write reviews but felt like I had to for these things since I’m so blown away. Personally I do a lot of audio mixing and mastering with high end , high impedance headphones I plug into an amp. I’m really picky about sound quality. I’ve already purchased and returned several other pairs of headphones. What really impressed me Is their natural detailed sound. I feel like a lot of other offerings over process the sound, possibly to make up for other design constraints, to add artificial clarity, depth, and separation. These just have the naturally robust detailed sound like amplified analog headphones, but with the added benefit of anc. No artifacts or harsh artificial highs. Yea these things are pricy, but I wouldn’t call them overpriced at all.

Let me begin by saying if you need volume/a lot of headroom then these are the ones for you. They have exceptional audio quality with a wide soundstage and very detailed sound. They have well balanced bass and are very comfortable. The Pi 8s have effective active noise cancellation and a good aware mode. I also use the audio retransmission case for wired connections when I need true lossless audio.

These headphones made me realize that I am not an audiophile, and probably don’t want to be. I have had the Sony WH-1000XM3 for years and ADORE those headphones. I thought it was time for an upgrade and researched for hours, had super high hopes for the px8. When I started listening I could immediately understand the hype. The sound is incredibly clear and detailed. But I pretty much exclusively listen to EDM. And the bass was just not there for me. I didn’t FEEL the music. Many people complain about the bass being too high on these. Those people are audiophiles, and I guess I am a basshead. I had to turn up the volume for the bass to sound loud enough, but that would make my ears hurt. I returned them and got the Sennheiser M4. I will say these headphones sounded great for other genres. Radiohead sounds incredible in these headphones. You can hear every instrument super clearly. Get these if you are an audiophile. Save some money and get the Sony’s or Sennheiser M4 if you are a basshead like me!

I got this speakers as open box for 1K and I can say this are the best speakers I've had better than the 805 d3 not d4 tho but for that price you get the sound quality of a 800 series not bad at all. Finish is good but not 800 series good I believe the design is good but I still prefer the 800 diamond finishes and design Now if you get this I strongly recommend you get the formation audio it will make your life easier and you will be able to use this speaker with anything that is the downside of this system is only wireless but the formation audio fixes that in my opinion Just keep in mind this is a great deal on clearance (2k at the moment of this review) not only you get a great pair of speaker but also the amps 2x125w each speakers bi wire if you get the 805 d3 (what this compares to) and a decent amp you may be looking at 6k+ i paid for my whole system and a formation wedge 2k for all not disappointed at all.

    One Star to Five Stars...

My Formation Duo speakers arrived four days ago. For the first two days, my experience matched those of the reviewers that rated the speakers as one star—multiple dropouts and episodes of unresponsiveness. I was completely unable to use Roon with them, although the B&W Music app worked most of the time. I tried an ethernet cable right away. I restarted and factory reset the speakers several times. That seemed to improve things a little, but the dropouts continued to an intolerable degree for such an expensive piece of equipment. Roon gave me a hint. Roon provides info on its music files—I soon figured out that hi-res audio files were always dropped but lower-res compressed files would play. The Roon Help documentation emphasizes the importance of a well-tuned and correctly configured wireless system to allow maximum data transfer. Otherwise, dropouts would occur. I decided to put some time into investigating my network performance since I had already tried everything I knew to do with the speakers. My entire system had been set up by the guys from Magnolia. I had rarely experienced problems, but my AV equipment and computers are hard-wired, so the wireless may not have been challenged by web surfing over an iPhone or iPad. Magnolia had installed a fancy Luxul router and two wireless access points; the Luxul connected to the Internet through an Arris cable modem/router supplied by Spectrum. While investigating my network, I found the following (in a system that I previously thought was functioning well): • The Arris cable modem/router had a 2.4 GHz wireless network itself that was transmitting on the same channel as the Luxul access points, possibly producing interference or using bandwidth that could otherwise be used by the Duos. I turned the cable modem wireless off. • The access points needed firmware updates. I took care of that. • I found a faulty ethernet connection elsewhere in my network and replaced it. I also worried about another potential problem. Tidal limits the number of active connections to one. I used to get a warning on my iPhone when I used Tidal while I also accessed Tidal on Roon. (This was before the B&W Duos.) It’s easy to forget to close the iPhone app… so I wondered if the B&W would just not play Tidal streams if I had Tidal open on other devices. I don’t know the answer, but during the investigating period, I just signed out of Tidal and Qobuz on everything. Finally, I reset Roon and then powered off every device, switch, router, cable modem and speaker for a couple of minutes and then restarted. Something did the trick! I have had no dropouts or unresponsiveness for almost 24 hours. Roon plays like a champ. Songs that previously wouldn’t play now play beautifully. FLAC 24/192 and DSD256 are converted to 96 or 88.2kHz for transmission to the Duos, where they sound spectacular! I believe they are even better than the B&W 803s floorstanders that have produced great sound in our living room for many years… So sound quality is unsurpassed. Ease of use would also be fine if your network is configured for maximum data transfer. I hope this helps others to avoid the two days of heartburn that I experienced.

[Employee of bestbuy] Highs mids and lows, all can be heard in both music and movies when using the Bowers and Wilkins Px8 headphones. They are built strong with metal components instead of all plastic and are also very comfortable. Some of the best noise cancelling iver ear headphones on the market as well, truly cannot hera any of the iutside world when immersed in my music or movies. Easy auto pairing to devices and will also auto switch between devices. Worth every penny and cannot recommend enough!

When I first unboxed this, I did a stretch test and the headband started to fall apart as the middle of the headband split open from the seams. I tried to pop it back in, but when I stretch it again, it would pop out from the seam. This already gave me hesitation as they are $700, I would have thought the build quality was going to be flawless. In all honesty, the headband felt pretty cheap to me and not worth the $700 price tag. Beside the initial issue, everything else was great. The soundstage on these are fantastic. Notes are clear and warm. Unfortunately, there's only a 2 band EQ (bass/treble), so there's not much configuration you can do. I know if given a better EQ option, these would be top 3 for sure. So at first, I compared these with my AirPods Max and to be honest, the AirPods had a better soundstage. Though these have a warmer presence, the sound felt more like it was contained in a small space like a closet. There were times where it sounded muddy vs. the AirPods and that's with the default EQ settings. But I do feel that the clarity is better on these. The PX8 is 3 years old and I've read that there is a new version 2 model coming out this year. So I would wait for that one to come out as I am sure there will be improvements and more options.

Best sounding earbuds but with flaws. So far these are the best earbuds I have had sound wise. The ANC is ok, these do not cancel external sound like the AirPods Pro. They do stay in your ear. I had to let these go because after 3 months the left earphone began to make a static noise. To conclude I would purchase these earphones again for the amazing sound they provide.

I’ve had these for a little over a month now. I was originally blown away be the sound on these earbuds, better than anything I’ve heard before. The bass is very nice for the size of the earbuds. Might have some connection issues if trying to pair them to two devices at once though, but that’s just a minor issue that can be fixed by simply turning off the Bluetooth on one of the devices. The app is average with a simplistic EQ band to adjust the range the earbuds can go. Overall, if you have the budget, I’d highly recommend these!

These are my current ones. Sound, quality is top notch. You get what you pay for here. When you get into this level, expect real leather ear pads and headband. They look sexy. I have the forest green and love them. The app is a little finicky sometimes, but once you get setup, you really don’t need it. The buttons are great, takes some getting used to. Overall, I’d give them a 20 if I could. If this is not in your budget, then go with the QC Ultras.
