I really enjoyed this film. People complain that the way it was shot was a gimmick but that doesn't bother me as it worked beautifully.

Not much about this movie is overwhelmingly great, especially for how much hype it received. Still an enjoyable watch.

Terrific acting and plot. It is a good movie that catches the feeling of the time it was filmed and does well showing everyone age.

I really liked this movie. Interesting how it was filmed as well, over 12 some odd years.

I guess this could have been an interesting film, and maybe it was for people who have had an utterly peaceful, boring, family life. The incidents in the family's life were completely cliche as far as I'm concerned. Everyone was uninteresting, especially the boy in question. So other than actually watching a couple of kids grow up, there wasn't really anything to the story.

Very poignant. I enjoyed this movie immensely. Was pleasantly surprised to see Charlie Sexton in the movie, which was way cool!

If you are afraid of independent films you may find this movie slow...but if you are willing to try you won't be disappointed!

3 plus hours go by so quick. Fantastic experience! What a great challege the director and cast took. Blu ray looks fantastic.

Incredible concept for a movie, a 14 year span. Plot has been replaced by time. I think it would have worked better if they cut back and forth from past to present instead of a beginning to end timeline. Watching the kids age slowly isn't very interesting to me. But the little life experiences they all go through are pretty much universal to everyone's story of growing up.

I don't know what I can say about this movie, other than it should be required viewing for all parents of boys.

The affect that occurs here is as good if not better than any CGI, and this is all done all in camera. A new classic.
