I purchased this turntable to convert my extremely rare collection of Jimi Hendrix LP's to MP3. The process is so easy. Literally pop a USB drive into the appropriate slot, queue the record and hit record. If you want to separate songs on an album you will need to monitor the progress and toggle the recording on and off at songs end. Speakers are kind of crappy, so I would suggest external ones if you plan to use this as an actual stereo - im just using it to covert

Great way to capture and digitally rework sound.
