Great movie. For a movie that’s nearly 30 years old, the picture quality is good. Not much difference between 4K and blu ray.

This movie is a gem from my teenage years. It's a little far-fetched, but it gives you an idea of what South Central LA was like in the early 90s. Great flick!

Classic film depicting real scenarios in the hood then topped off with a piece of social commentary at the end. Plenty of stars for all you first time viewers

this was a great classic. saw it around the time of the rodney king beating by the 4 white police and i was going to college then and brought back nostalgic memories.

Can see a upgrade in picture quality. Better than the blu ray.

Classic Movie from an era I grew up in. This movie shows a lot of what's going on in urban communities. Glad I could add to my collection and the price was amazing

You know the movie, now watch it in high def, such a classic words cant describe how great this film is... Don't quote me boy, 'cause I ain't said (you know what)

A realistic movie about life in Los Angeles. It shows there are people who are strong willed and willing to stand up for themselves in an oppressive neighborhood.

Wow, Boyz 'N the Hood is fantastic on 4K bluray. Ultra sharp & clear, colors pop, and great sound too. Highly recommend.

The steelbook is a awesome addition to my collection, looks good & the picture is great as well as the soundtrack

Back in 1991, there were very few African American directors, and few stories from the inner cities that focused on the difficulties many people go through to live their lives. This movie was Singleton first and probably his best. It showcased Cuba Gooding jr.'s talents and also showed us that Ice Cube was not a one trick pony.

Who I like about this is the real raw insight into the hood life that long is depicted accurately sometimes from Hollywood but this time they got it right.

I HAD to have this steelbook. It's beautiful! I already had this on dvd but the art on the steelbook and the fact was only $10 made it even more awesome

This movie is one of my all time favorites. I bought this becuase I would watch the edited for TV version every time it was on, which just cuts out to much.

I have loved this movie since it first came out and couldn't resist owning another copy of it. The movie is great and has some terrific performances in it.
