It is well designed, but it could have been more stable if it was with a magnet on the back as well.

Works not super sturdy doesn't hold phone in position well. Cannot turn sideways.

Is ok. One thing I didn’t like is that once the phone is inside it that the moving parts on the bottom backside can scratch the in car monitor screen. As the vent is above the screen it happens this way. Using another vent is not ergonomical. I Guess that with CarPlay option ok these newer ads that we don’t need to mount it above the screen. Which means that this product is probably really good for cars that don’t have the vent above the display screen.

I like the fact that it isn’t as bulky as most of the majority in the market.

Purchased this in October, wouldn't stay in place while driving so propped a wood chip between it and my vent, which worked well......... but it shut my iphone off due to the heat coming from the vent....not good! No longer use this and purchased a cup phone holder, so far it's great.

Does not grip the AC vent adequately.....falls down

This Auto Grip is very light and easy to use. Holds any size phone without a problem.

I like the clamp mount; however it does not stay in my vent. It drops down. I like how it grips my phone but it just doesn’t fit well into my air vent. It’s disappointing!

Overall it works pretty well, and it may just be that it doesn’t work best with my vent but it’s not the sturdiest. I’m definitely not mad with this purchase though.

Honestly, this mount has surpassed expectations. When looking at it online I was really skeptical of it, but I went into a retail store to compare the options in person and trying it in person sold me. Its so easy to get my phone in and out of the mount, and the phone is really secure. After several months of using it I am extraordinarily happy with this product.

I wasn't sure how well this smart phone mount would work in my 2013 Prius. But, it really fits on my vent louvers, and holds my phone very sturdily. It is easy to insert / remove the phone. When the phone is removed the mount reverts to the retracted posion. My primary use is to hold the phone while it is in map mode. Overall, a very good buy.
