This mount is designed so that once you put it in your vents you can leave it there and not have to take it out everytime. We always recommend placing the vent clips into the bottom-most vent bar in your air vents –– this will ensure that it is supported at its base and will not fall out. There was a tiny screw that was missing and the whole thing fell apart!! I’m really bummed because I was so excited after having a hefty ticket for picking up my cell phone when my car was stopped. This is going to help a ton, but it broke right away. Really a disappointment.

My vehicle has verticals slots and this doesn’t seem to hold my iPhone up well at all.

The simple design uses simple mechanics to hold my iPhone is a very secure manner. The bottom bracket comes together with just enough space to allow a charging cable to be attached to the iPhone.

Not the worst but it's a little inconvenient
