My vents are long and narrow but this holder worked perfectly. I love the fact that it slides on and off the phone. No buttons to push. Worked great for me.

I'm always worried that my phone will fall out although that hasn't happened yet. Just wish it felt more secure.

The lower “feet” and the “arms” that hold the phone need to extend out more to hold phones that has thicker phone cases and the finger rings that I put on the back of my phone case. For me to use this phone mount, I have to replace my thick phone case to a thin one and to give up my case ring.

The mechanism is satisfying and has an opening where you can feed in your charger cable. My one critique is the air vent clip isn’t always strong enough, and can slip around a bit if you jostle it too much. Pushing it against the vent again often fixed the issue, but I would’ve liked for it to be a little more sturdily attached.

However, I would like to alert potential buyers to two points. First, I had to remove the mount's rubber buffer on the prongs that support the lower part of the phone because I have a protective case on the phone. Second, because the mount is on a heat duct the back of the phone gets (very) warm and I don't think that's good for the phone. To get around that I deactivate the heat duct.
