Make sure you try twisting the ridged circular piece at the base of the mount, so that the base is widened and will fit securely into your cup holder. I was desperate, I tried it out, complete waste. Base does not fit, slides around, can't get tall enough for my car and too difficult and delicate to attach the phone.
