It was difficult to insert into the clamp and trying to remove it, the entire cell phone holder would just get lifted from the cup holder. It was hard to get a tight grip

Please make sure you rotate the ridged circular piece on the base of the mount, so that the base will widen and fit snug in your cup holder. I love how easy it is to insert and remove the phone. Using a cup holder in my car does not block any vents or sit on the dashboard. The first one I bought was missing the part to tighten the ball connector so the phone doesn’t flip over. Best Buy helped me exchange it for a complete one so all is good.

The phone slot fits very nicely allowing a port cord for use. Overall it does the job
