This product is not good. I t did not go together well either.

Worked until it got hot from the sun and then it wouldn't hold

While you may upgrade your phone, now you do not have to change your mobile mount! Use the included (multiple to choose from) metal pieces to attach your phone to this mount! Great for using your phone as a GPS, or Vlogging.. great to use during video chats .. multiple uses! Great buy!

I previously used a cheap suction cup with an extended arm coming down from the windshield. The suction cup stopped working after a while so I decided to get this one. There's a pretty good distance from the windshield to the dash on my car so I usually have to get ones with a long arm. I was skeptical at first because I was planning on putting this one right on the dash that has a soft, textured surface. So far, It's handled it like a champ and hasn't came undone yet. The Magnet is a lot stronger than I expected and there's no way my G5 will fall off.

I love the magnet. I have it attached to the back of my phone case, and can pop the phone right into the holder when I get into the car. The suction works great on the smooth part of my dash. I did not try it on the rough area as that is not where I am putting the mount.

I have tried a half dozen different car mounts and this Bracketron Universal Dash Mount is #1 by far. It is small, easy to install, and is so simple to use. The thin magnet slips between your phone and case or you can apply it to your phone without using a case..... you never know it is there. The other magnet is in the mount which suctions to your windshield or dash. The magnet is so strong ... it WILL NOT FALL OFF let alone move under normal driving conditions.

I have bought plenty of devices like this because they either did not work correctly or I just plain didn't like them. This product, though, was easy to get put together and my phone stays on it just great. I rely on having my phone with me all the time and like to listen to music in the car from my phone so it is important to me that this type of product works well. It takes up less space than other products like this and does what it says. That is all I really need and I am happy with the product.

It sticks to flat surface perfectly. We put it on the left corner of the windshield on the driver side. The little feet on the bottom are perfect so it'll hold a little better. The magnetic might not hold it when the car is bumping around but the little feet help it to stay steady.

I'd like to say I bought this because my girlfriend had one, she liked it but ended up getting one of the ones that clamps onto your phone. I wanted it because it was small, I will say the magnet is very strong and fits behind my case very well. I have an iPhone 6 and it has never detached. My only downfall is that I am a Florida resident and in the summers my car will get well over 100 degrees if it's left in the sun and the mount will most of the time unstick and fall though it is very easy to stick right back on.

Straight up I picked this for the look. I didn't like the aesthetic of other brands using a giant claw grabbing my phone on my dash. So when I saw that this model used magnets I jumped on it. It works great and looks better. I haven't noticed any signal loss from the magnet being so close to the antennas. I have an iPhone6 and installed the magnet inside the case I use. My hands are on the steering wheel and am free to use hands free features of the phone while keeping my eyes on the road. Love it.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but after trying this out, it was to my surprise my phone Samsung GS5 stayed in place even on bump roads. The plate is strong enough that it works through both layers of my Otterbox Defender. The only problem I see is the platerm makes a tight fit under the cover, and even under the battery cover of the gs5. If you just have a soft shell you might notice it bulge slightly. For my Defender, I placed it on the back of the battery cover per instructions and despite making the hard shell not secure all the way it is not noticeable with the soft shell in place so it works for me. It also doesn't stick that we'll on surfaces other than the windshield but again no big deal.

Easy to mount on the dash. There are different ways you can apply the magnet to hold your device in place, and they actually work! Occasionally the mount loses suction and falls over, but I reapply some moisture and reset it on the dash.

Did a lot of research on this mount prior to buying.... Pros.. This things sticks to anything and stays Love it. Easy to remove phone single hand function so easy come and go.... Cons... The main issue will the magnet affect GPS and all I read was no issues, Well not so... I have a new LG Stylo and after 2 days of use my GPS will not work correctly even when off the base. So I downloaded a GPS app / Compass and then put the phone on the mount and the compass went crazy started to turn all different directions and could not find my location. Also the magnetic switch for the phone to switch to a clock face if the phone is off center it thinks that a cover was closed.

I use this with an iPhone 6s and a Honda Civic. Tried mounting to textured dash initially. It would stick firmly until temperatures rose then fell off. It gets really hot here in Phoenix so maybe your results could be better in cooler areas. Now it's on windshield glass and stuck firmly. The magnet holds great. I just placed the metal piece inside my apple leather case. I like not having the phone pinched onto the mount.

I bought this when I bought the 6S last september and just upgraded to the 7Plus, so I decided to do a review on how good this has held up for an entire year. It's fallen off ONE time this past summer because of the scorching GA heat, but once I re-applied, it's stayed put, and I remember to crack my windows a little bit so it doesn't get too hot. My ONLY complaint, but I wouldn't deduct a star for it, is, when it came time to remove the magnet from my phone, I had to have a geek squad team member help me because it was so hard to get off. It left a couple of scratches, in fact. What I did differently and will advise everyone to do is leave or put a screen protector on the back of your phone, just a cheap one, so that when/if the time comes to take the magnet off, it will be much easier. I didn't plan ahead, so I won't deduct stars for my error.

This is just what I needed and it works perfectly. I set it up on my dash where I can reach my phone and see it clearly. I love that I just touch my phone to it and it just stays. The magnet is powerful!

Great concept but I am having a few issues. The magnet with the double sided adhesive is not sticking after just a days use. Also, the suction cup does not hold well to the dash or my desk. If it will work, this will be an excellent car mount. The suction does secure well to the window. I still have high hopes for this.
