The first one I bought lasted a good 4 years. only really came off my dash if I parked directly in the sun during summer. it's also really only good for even, untextured surfaces, so it might not work great for all cars.

Magnet is very strong even with otter box defender but you have to place the magnet down as low as you can get it on the back of the phone, not the case or the IQ charging sensor will not charge the phone.

Sticks onto my dashboard nicely and doesn’t come loose. Phone sticks right on the holder thanks to the strong magnet. Definitely recommend!

I did however change it up by putting the holder onto a (disc receiver). I don’t use my CD player I my truck so by put it on there I was able to put my phone right where I want it and easy access.

Time will only tell if it is good for the long run. Magnet was stronger than expected, which is good. I hope this doesn't loose its strength over time with high temperatures
