It may help to clean the dash as well as the mount with water before attempting to mount to the dash, so that any residue or dust is removed. It definitely would warrant five stars if the magnet wasn't consistently falling off the back of my phone. They do give a back-up magnet which I was hesitant to use because the first one failed after only a few days use. Trying to figure an alternative method of keeping the magnet on my phone.

If you add a thin case to your phone your problem will be solved as the metal plate will stay in place really well. The iPhone has a very hard shiny surface that if it is not completely 100% clean nothing will stick to it. If you would like a different mount instead please contact us!
