Posted .We're sorry to hear you had a poor experience. You may encounter an issue if your dash is heavily textured. Otherwise, make sure the mounting location on the dash is wiped clean of dirt and oils. If the bottom of the suction cup is dirty, wash that with warm water as well and allow to dry. If you mount the metal disc under a case. However, once it gets hot in the car from the sun the glue tends to give way and your phone goes crashing to the floor My dash had been well cleaned prior to mounting.

It's possible that your dash is not compatible with suction mounts because of its texture. This mount does also work on the windshield, I would recommend trying that to see if it sticks better. The magnet is WAY stronger than competitors. It holds all of our devices securely. We have our devices hanging over the edge of the smart soaking tub that does Bluetooth and color changing lights, and I always have confidence that even our really big tablets get held securely. Highly recommend this product!

I just slip the metal piece for the magnet between the phone and the phone cover. The suction is the best I’ve been able to find. If you don’t mess with it much, it can stay on for over a year. When I got a new car, I couldn’t put anything on the windshield or it would obscure the driver safety cameras, so I switched to the Brackerton vent clip holder, which also works well.

If you're having issues with the adhesive on your MagnetXT, make sure you clean the rubber as well as the dash in your vehicle before applying the adhesive to ensure there is no residue to prevent the adhesive from being effective.
