Neither attachment works well.

Neither of them works at all well. The one for the vent slats is difficult to install, getting your fingers around back to open the tight pincers is frustrating, and then, when you put your phone in, the vent is completely blocked. And the attachment intended for the CD player? Forget it. The dang thing isn't at all stable and is guaranteed to slip out at every bump in the road.
