Make sure you are utilizing the lever on the bottom of the mount in order to adjust the width so that it fits your device correctly. Not great for heaver phones, falls off the vent

I have a Samsung Galaxy and the phone was simply too heavy for this mount. The arms could hold the phone but the mount wouldn't stay clipped to the vent. After three or four good bumps the mount and phone were on the floor of the car. I returned it after only a couple trips and trying it on different vents with similar results.

The piece that controls and secures the mobile device would not hold or remain in place. I had to return and purchase another device from another recommended brand. Don't waste your time or funds.

Make sure you place the vent clips on the bottom-most vent bar so that it will be better supported at its base, this should ensure it does not fall. Also, make sure you adjust the lever on the bottom of the mount in order to widen or narrow the clamps to fit your phone snugly. Frustrated

It slides down and has fallen twice while driving. I have attempted different positions like leaning it back, it just starts slipping again. I have even tried trying different vents, my husband tightening it to my phone, same results.

It appears that the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a width of 3.06 inches, so this should fit without a case on the phone. If you are still having issues or would like to consider a mount with no width restriction, I'd consider looking into Bracketron's MagnetXT mounts and the AutoGrip Magnet mount at Best Buy.
