Make sure you use the clamp on the base of the mount in order to suction to your dashboard securely. Also, I would recommend rinsing off the suction cup and the dashboard with water in order to ensure there isn't any residue blocking suction. Regarding the ball joint tightener, make sure you tighten this as secure as you're able once you have the mount in the desired position. I would suggest cleaning off your windshield as well as the suction cup on the mount with water in order to ensure there is no residue blocking the suction. In case your dashboard is not compatible with suction mounts, please also consider Bracketron's other mount applications, such as cup holder, CD Slot and Vent mounts. It shouldnt matter what climate your in, it should still endure during weather changes. When we tried to take it down and readjusting, it broke.

I recommend placing the vent clips into the bottom-most vent bar, so that the mount is supported at its base. This should secure the mount and prevent it from falling at all. Also, try cleaning off your dashboard and the suction cup on the mount with water to ensure there is no residue blocking suction.
