Ok I normally don’t write reviews but I spent over 59.99 at Best Buy for this and thought for the price it should be half way decent and Tossed the box. I would return if I had the box the mount is ok but the magnet horrible u basically have to use no case and put the metal strips directly to your phone and anyone that spent 1000$ on there’ phone or even 100$? Wants there phone protected I’ve several different ways to place the strips on my case even went and bought thinner metal strips and reading reviews they don’t help they say contact xxxx for helping or to get different strip but that doesn’t help I need a better magnet in the mount and they don’t offer to send u that

I have a Pixel 3 XL. The adhesive on the magnets that attach to the phone do not stick to the phone. The phone slides off, onto the floor leaving the 2 magnetic strips clinging to mount. The charging mechanism does not work unless you find the exact spot to stick the phone to. Don't even think about trying to use a case on your phone and charging it. It doesn't work at all. I will be returning this item for a full refund.

The adhesive would not stick to my phone. I placed the magnets on my phone for 24hrs, then tried to place it on the mount with the case on and it slide off. I toon the case off and it held for about and hour and a half into my trip and one of the magnets started going sideways. If I could find my receipt I would return it.

Out of the box this unit would not charge my Samsung S9, even out of the case. I tried another phone as well with the same result. The magnet it terrible, and is not strong enough to hold the phone in place. Returning it, as it is worthless to me.

I bought this thinking it would perform as well as the Scosche mount I used to have. First, the magnets are too large in both thickness and length and there is no template to apply them to your phone that is model specific. This means that every time you put the phone on the mount, you'll have to adjust it to get it to find the "sweet spot" to charge. Second, the adhesive on the magnets would not stay on my phone. I used both sets in a matter of days before I super-glued them to the case itself. You would think that they'd make the adhesive better for a windshield mount considering the sun beats on it. Lastly, the whole mount broke and left nothing but the suction cup on my windshield this morning sending my phone across the dash and almost out of the window. I've had the mount for only two weeks and it's already broken and unusable as it is very cheaply made.

It's a good charger but if you have a case it won't work. The magnetic strips stick to the paper and lose all their adhesive as you take them out of the package so then you have to use other adhesive.
