Posted .Suction cups hold for a long time, but are not completely permanent and may need to be reapplied after long periods of time. If this happens frequently, make sure the mounting location on the dash is wiped clean of dirt and oils. If the bottom of the suction cup is dirty, wash that with warm water as well and allow to dry. Then, try firmly pressing the cup down and locking the lever to secure. If that does not work, please contact [email protected], and one of our representatives would be happy to assist you. Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually buy tech stuff like this online, but I needed a dashboard mount for my smartphone "now!" I stopped in my Local Best Buy. I found this one, and I liked that the phone holder could be slid down by the base (my car has a high dashboard). It cost more than I really wanted to pay, but I was desperate, so I got it any way. I have had it over 6 months, and it has been a very good dash mount. The suction cup has stayed gripped to my textured dashboard, The swivel ball for the phone holder has worked well. While the tension is not adjustable, and it is easy to swivel when you want it to, it stays where I put it, even with my large (but not huge) phone. Because I don't want to overly challenge the suction cup, I always use two hands to mount the phone. I can remove my phone with one hand by holding the phone with thumb and three fingers and pushing the grab arm with my ring finger.

Tried a few different mounts before this one and they were too wobbly or shaky when driving. I put this one on the small window panel of the drivers side door and it's the perfect fit. Doesn't move and looks great! Can still get the power cable to it and it's not in the way. I have a 2018 Honda Clarity. Works great for me!

The dash mount looks nice and stable enough but it is so hard to get the phone in and out, needs some power and you need some technic also. I would give another day and if not i would definitely return it back and i will stay with my magnet.
