This product is horrible quality and broke so easy

Started ride share driving so a car mount became a must. This Bracketron TripGrip was a great purchase for use with my Samsung Galaxy S4 with Otterbox case. Operationally sound at a reasonable price. I was skeptical about using a vent mount due to the recessed, curved nature of the center vent in my Camry. It did take a little maneuvering to get it the way I needed it. I mounted mine low on the vent as far left as possible. The clips worked great, no jostling once I screwed down the position with the knob. The support wasn't needed, and it really just got in the way so I tucked it all the way in, up and under the bracket. There are two feet that can be opened which the phone rests on, which worked well, no issues. The release button worked great to open the arms, and once you remember where the button is it's not a problem. Easy to lock the phone in, and then release and remove it when leaving the vehicle. My only issue is that I had to trade off the line of sight to my car clock in order to have the phone as near to me where I wanted it. Unfortunately as you get older your vision isn't what it used to be, and I needed the phone where I could easily see it and touch the screen without much maneuvering.

If you have an older car, I don't recommend this type of car mount. The grips are so tight that when I tried to remove the mount from my vents, it snapped my vent. Other than that seems to work well. I will be exchanging for dash or window mount.

This phone holder is flimsy, doesn't hold the phone well and broke my card vent. I had it too long to return it. Very very unhappy that it broke my car vent. Nothing about the holder is good. The phone would slip out of the holder, or slip down out of range. Awful!

Wasted $$. Does not work in vertical vents, as advertised. One turn in the vehicle, and one mount leg fell off and that's the rest of the story. 25$ wasted!
