The attachment to the AC vent works but I do have to monitor it to adjust the angle of the phone so it doesn't rotate down with normal road bumps.

My only issues are sometimes when clamping to phone it jumps gears on one side making phone off center. Fix is taking phone out then squeezing closed till gears jump/strip back in place. Also temperature affects opening speed.

Great for cars without navigation

With how large phones are, it does cover your vent quite a bit and the phone can get hot/cold unless you close the vent you're using. Not idea in severe weather where you need AC or heat! But clips right on and off so you can put in glovebox when not needed.

Serves its purpose

Also, keep in mind that if there isn't an off switch on those particular vents, the phone will get very hot if the heat is on.

And when you do it falls unless you tighten it again. Just inconvenient but otherwise solid.

Great Holder

Looked at several different ones and finally settled on this Braketron. Glad I did. Really solid. Initially was looking at ones with a suction sup but saw how they eventually came off. This one mounts up solid on a vent. Just be careful tightening the swivel head. Mine came cross threaded and was hard to turn. Once corrected, everything was good.
