I use my iphone GPS in the car and my old holder had broken, so I needed a replacement right away. The Bracketron phone holder was a cinch to install, and is easy to position exactly the way you want it. The mechanism for clamping the phone in place is superior to anything else I have had, with a simple release button that works very well. Highly recommended!

I am pleased as to how sturdy this cellphone holder is. It does not move, shake or wobble like most holders do. It was a great investment.

This is my 3rd one-I buy 1 every year because it's used almost everyday. But this one is an upgrade from the previous 2. It felt lightweight and more flimsy at 1st but after installation-much easier than previous version, it holds up very well. Easier to view when using maps and doesn't block any part of my windshield-a plus in my book!

I've been using this holder for about 2 weeks. I bought this last minute before a business trip and it is working much better than expected in a rental car. So far it has been sturdy and is holding my Galaxy Fold in the folded position quite well even though the Fold is a bit heavier than a typical cell phone.

Have had this phone holder for the car for over a year and a half. Easy to install, sturdy and easy to access phone and remove it from holder, when ready to get out. This little holder has withstood the test of time and doesn't seem ready to quit. Love it!

This phone holder works well do to business while driving

I’ve bought cheaper versions and they break or are not supportive. This one is very sturdy and holds the phone in place and position.

After my last hands free mount refused to mount due to adhesion issues, I decided to look at a vent mount. This clips onto the horizontal part of the vent. It blocks the vent, but not completely so A/C still functions. Haven't tried it with the heater but I imagine that would work too. Wouldn't want to run the heat too long with the phone right there, but I'm sure it would still function. It uses an adjustable foam grip on the sides and fold down legs to support the phone. It can be adjusted to hold phones bigger than mine and mine is 5.2". My phone hasn't fallen free of the mount without me loosening it. It has a rest so it's lifted off the dashboard. If you have a touchscreen just under your vent, it may be problematic as it may make contact with your screen. It slightly obscures my radio screen, but I hardly use it anyway. It does block my CD slot, but it can be lifted out of the way easily. It has a ball joint to swivel to achieve the best viewing angle. It isn't unlimited but does provide a wide number of positions to view. I have on a couple occasions moved it too far to one side and pulled it off the vent. It doesn't block the top or the bottom of my phone, so all my ports are still available. It does block the power button of my phone on the side, but a quick double tap on the screen wakes my phone up so it isn't a problem for me. I rather like this car mount. It seems secure and lets me charge and plug in my auxiliary cable. Works great for me and my car and my phone.

Built well and easy to use. Fits well in our car vent.

I really like this holder for my phone because it is adjustable so I can leave my phone case on, I can use it in landscape or portrait, and I can easily switch it between cars. The price is good for the functionality.

For the price, a good product that meets expectations

This device is easy to set up and even easier to use. It makes the hands free law easy to follow when your speeding down the road.

The cell pbone mount worked well in my Toyota Tundra.

Pros: inexpensive, gets the job done. Like the swivel function so you can direct the phone where needed. Adjustable size to use on any phone Cons: feels pretty flimsy but have been using for a month without issue

I have a Hyundai Sonata and due to the angle of the vents this item did not work for me. Had to return it. Sturdy design though and was suggested to me by a couple different store clerks.

Will sometimes fall out of the vent if you hit a pothole but so far this has been the sturdiest phone holder I’ve found. The bracket is adjustable so it should fit most phones.

I recommend taking a long hard look at your air vents prior to buying this product. Might not be the idea solution for you depending on how the vents are aligned and/or thickness of said vents. If it works/fits, its a good product. If it doesn't fit your specific car, it might be too lose to be effective and unsafe.

Bought this phone holder for my Moto X Pure and it works Great. Holder stays snug in my vent and holds my phone very well.

I have had several holders before. None really worked. This one does. Simple to install and to remove for different cars.
