I don't like that it only works when it is not plugged in, I think having it use the power from the outlet would help with the power. I have not tried any other attachments but would not expect them to work well on longer hair.

We hunted for a new trimmer and ordered this Braun. It's great, easy to use and not bulky. I like that it's easy to clean too.
