I have a heavy weight food processor, and a blender. However, the heavy weight is hard to get out of cupboard, sometimes the lid is fiddly and lots of washing up. I was therefore looking for a lighter machine that could do it all. Already familiar with Braun, I knew they made good products. This machine does everything I want. It will easily process veggies for a salad, mash potatoes, puree my soups or sauces. Although it doesn't specify that it can do this I also made quiche pastry in this machine. So it pretty much does everything it claims to do and it does it very well. I like that it is compact, easy to clean and get out of your cupboard. This is as far as I know the only machine of its kind that does variable speeds. This is important if you use the immersion blender or whip up pancake batter. You never end up with splashes everywhere as you can slowly increase the speed. I am very pleased with my new Braun, and it is used in my kitchen several times a week. My only gripe is that in Europe it comes with both the 2 cup bowl and 6 cup bowl. I bought it with the 6 cup bowl, and now will have to buy the 2 cup bowl seperately.

I actually bought this item to see if it was any good compared to the one that my mom has. It was definitely better, minus the whole trigger configuration. I would gladly go back to the dial. After using it for a few days I came across an ad that showed the same product but with a better motor and more attachments. Imagine how cheated I felt? Of course it was a bit more price range but for the amount of tools I was getting from the Braun website itself was more than enough to justify the purchase. At least in my case. I'm the cook in the house so I rested my case on the ease of use vs chopping everything by hand even though it does taste better that way (dont worry i still chop stuff by hand, im not that lazy).

Great kitchen appliance. Being a multi function item created more space on my kitchen counter. Easy to use blade system, sturdy built in general. Exactly what i was looking for

Works well. I was replacing a mixer purchased many years ago that I use often for quick and easy jobs. So much easier than lugging a big mixer or food processor, this little one does it all efficiently and clean up is quick. Original purchase was by my mom for quick milk shakes.

I love this product, many features and does not need a lot of space.

Braun quality Quite and useful. I don't like to safety button.

I bought this to replace my 13 year old Braun hand blender. I wanted the large capacity chopper. This is not easy to find now.... I love the attachment options. (I haven't used them all yet!). The quality on Braun is top notch. It doesn't feel cheap. It is on the expensive side, but I'm expecting this one to last another 13 years.

I got this for free from a contest that I entered. I used it to crush ice and the top of it broke. I called the company and they informed me that this should not be used to crush ice and I would have to purchase the part myself.
