Movie speaks for itself classic.. but the 4k version wasnt a very good conversion.. no better than bluray i was disappinted. There are much better 4k movies to view on dvd save ur money just buy vluerqy version

I purchased this to test recent $4,000 theater equipment since it's rated Dolby Atmos etc. Regrettably, not pleased with video.

Product arrived in good condition but 5 days late. Chatted with Best Buy representative since I paid extra to recieve product in 2 days. I was told I would be refunded shipping costs in a day which never happened. Will not buy from here again

I bet it looks great...but how would I know? 4k disc wont play. BB told me they will not exchange due to being past the 15 day window. Didn't know the disc was defective until last week....when I bought my 4k tv from BB.

My order was supposed to be shipped and got switched to store picked for two of my four items. I waited for them in the mail and come to find out the store cancelled my order. Refused to replace the order with the sale prices.

This movie is a classical. I love that this copy came with the digital copy as well. Disposing was easy.

Well, this is a rather biased review for the mere fact this is my favorite movie of all time. (L.O.T.R. trilogy and Raiders of the Lost Ark come in at a close second and third favorite) Braveheart has every element I look for in movies - the perfect director, flawless cinematography, the perfect cast, a good rock solid theme, and musical score leaving you breathless - well my movie watching friends this movie meets all requirements hands down. This film when released in 1995 re-introduced the audience to the classic "epic" that in relation would relate to the older classic movies such as classics including Lawrence of Arabia, etc. If you want an adventure that does not disappoint and you have an appreciation for top notch movie making this movie will deliver. I have been waiting forever and it is finally re-introduced on blu ray, as it should be seen and heard. I am glad I was the first to write a review because I can't stand first reviews left on sites by bad nit-picky critics. You simply cannot go wrong with this movie! EPICS RULE!!!!!!

I have this movie on DVD, I definitely need this on 4K.. I just got finished watching it. My mom got me into this movie, i used to watch it with her all the before she past away, She got me into movie collecting...

When I was younger, my brother became obsessed with Braveheart, even bought the soundtrack at one point in time, do not know if he still has it or not. He also had the VHS tape and DVD as well. When I saw the Blu-Ray sitting in front of me, I knew I had to get this movie due to all the memories I had attached to it. Now i won't get into the overall plotline of the movie itself, because that would end up taking me a long time, and even so, I won't argue that there are some historical inaccuracies and liberties taken with the account of the life of William Wallace. Those do not take away from the scope and beauty of the film itself though. The story is poignant and makes you feel just about every human emotion in the books. It is truly an emotional tour de force that brings it all out of you, you'll laugh, cry, get angry, have a happy feeling through it all and by the time the film comes to an end, you'll be a hot mess. The Blu-Ray version adds even more to that impact, the picture quality is just amazing, clear as crystal and really accentuates the beauty of the Scottish landscape. Everything is just amped up 1000 times over other versions of the film, colours pop, details are clearly shown that I recall were blurry before and the battle scenes are truly gruesome to say the least. The sound has so much more punch as well. Every sword clash, every battle cry, every spoken word of dialogue comes through without any static or problems at all. It is truly lossless audio to say the least, and brings home how talented these actors and actresses truly are. All in all, I wouldn't recommend showing this film to your kids though. It is one that if you ask me, is better experienced with teens or adults. But either way, get out the popcorn, soda and pizza for this. Braveheart is a classic, and this Blu-Ray transfer makes it even more so.

This is a great movie in just about every way. First of all, it's a beautiful movie to watch. The cinematography is great and the scenery is amazing. The film's score, by James Horner, works perfectly with the scenes to create different moods. The battle scenes are realistic (blood even splatters on the camera at one point), the love scenes are romantic, and there are a lot of light-hearted moments. Many epics suffer from being boring at times, but this is interesting throughout. My only complaint is that they changed the facts quite a bit, but if you don't know the history already it shouldn't bother you.

this is great story involving a regular man named william wallace who basically starts and uprising and fights for freedom of his country after a trajic event takes place. the movie is an excellent story, though wallace is romanticised compared to the true story. in real life he was more barbaric, but the nature of the character in the movie isnt to but it helps you to relate to the main character better. the music is good and i enjoyed it, i actually bought the soundtrack but i enjoy music from final fantasy as well. the story is great, though it can be graphic during some fight scenes it is an excellent purchase.

Beautifully spun drama of the plight of the Scots before they won their freedom from English rule. 4K allows highest fidelity of audio and visual reproduction available. It doesn't get much better than this. You also get regular hi def discs useable on laptops, and virtual link if needed, A must for history buffs or English Empire and Commonwealth historians. a collectors item.

YOU MUST BUY THIS MOVIE ON BLU-RAY! NOT ONLY IS IT ONE OF THE GREATEST FILMS EVER MADE, BUT THE TRANSFER IS PERFECT! YOU WILL NOTICE DETAILS YOU NEVER SAW BEFORE ONCE YOU SEE IT IN HD, AND THE SOUND IS AMAZING ON A GOOD HOME THEATER SYSTEM! DON'T MISS OUT, BUT THIS!!!

My all time fave movie by Mr. Gibson. If you have not seen it before, you have got to make it one of your must see movies!!!! Not one thing about this movie, that's bad to me. Well written and all actors are just the best I have seen in any movie production all the way around. But warning, this movie is not for Children or young teens as there is quite a bit of Gore factor to it as well as cursing.

Braveheart is an awesome film and one you should experience in 4K. The disc offers very good video and audio. And the steelbook has nice artwork and a glossy finish. This set gets my highest recommendation!

This movie was already an overall great movie. But with the extended scenes, it made it even better. Ontop of the extra scenes in the movie, the picture quality was detailed and top of th line. Battle scenes were like they should be (better than in theatres), and the sound also was very detailed, you could hear each sword clash

I have been wanting this on bluray for some time now. This has always been one of my favorite movies since it first came out 20 years ago. There are so many similarities in today's shows/films that owe their creative influence to this movie. Great movie, great story, great purchase.

What can I say? The story, acting and overall sense of the movie just blows your mind. And right now if you own the regular DVD you can get $10 rebate when you purchase the Blu Ray Disc, which allows you to get the new new one for basically $12 or so.

Yes, the film is pretty brutal and gory.. but when is war not? Underneath all of the action and fighting is a very well made beautiful film which ranks as one of Mel's best. The audio and video are almost perfect and round out this spectacular disc.

Wow... ...so I thought this movie would look and sound great on Blu-ray, but it far exceeded my expectations. It was like seeing this movie again for the first time. The picture and sound was just brilliant.
