Very serious show , keeps you on the edge of your seat , had to watch whole season as soon as I saw the first episode. So captivating you'll be constantly worried about what's gonna happen to Walt next.Much like the show "Weeds" , someone driven outside of their normal lifestyle due to family and loss , but more intense .

I have been watching this series live since the beginning. The premise is of a high school Chemistry teacher that gets cancer and worries about how to provide for his family after he dies. The genius is that the chemistry teacher IS a genius who has gotten screwed in life by the company he worked for and coincidentally he is introduced to one his students who deals in drugs. Because of his background, he ends up making meth that is chemically perfect and extremely potent. The first season is not as good as seasons 2-4 because there is no real arc, but it is MUCH better than anything on TV right now and you MUST watch the first season because the show is highly serialized. I have never heard of anyone not liking this series. Get in now before the last part of season 5 airs. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

I stumbled onto season 1/episode 1 by accident and couldn't turn it off. I re-watched it twice and knew this was going to be something special. Still nothing that happened that first season could possibly prepare you for how the show would evolve and eventually become arguably the best television drama ever. Although enjoyable on broadcast TV, the PQ/AQ of the blu-ray set take it to another level. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best shows I have ever seen! The content of the show is very entertaining if not mesmerizing, but what really sets it apart is the awesome character development throughout the cast. From little known to relatively unknown actors/actresses, I was blown away by their performances throughout. Watch it, watch it, watch it!!
