What's not to like about Breaking Bad season three? The plot continues to thicken, as Jesse and Walter get in too deep with Gus Fring and his cohorts, and as Hank develops more and more of an obsession with bringing the legendary "Heisenberg" to justice. Signs of strain are starting to show in the ever-evolving relationship between Walter and Jesse as well. Throughout the series, they have an almost love/hate relationship, as well a loyalty on par with the kind that is usually reserved for family. Walter has become somewhat of a father figure to Jesse, albeit a dysfunctional one. Looking bad at the series as a whole, (and without giving any spoilers) season three is somewhat of a turning point in the development of all the main characters, and we see sides of each of them that take on a darker tone than in seasons one and two. Season three is not as "light" as seasons one and two, and from this point on, the series definitely has a heavier feel. It definitely does not glorify meth use or involvement in the drug industry, like it might have come close to doing in the first two seasons. Walter's life starts to unravel, as more and more of his decisions give rise to consequences that eventually put a wedge between himself and the family he is trying to "save". Excellent series and worth getting on blu-ray. *****Regarding the blu-ray itself, for some reason, seasons 1 through 3 have much longer load times than seasons 4 through the final season. At first I thought there was a glitch, but I think it's actually an issue with the BD Live. If you turn off your connection to the internet, it will actually load faster. Needless to say, it will eventually load either way.

Very, very good season!! The story has just gotten good, and includes my favorite cold open, Wendy.

This is one of those shows that will live on forever. From the very first episode I was hooked and watched until the end. Breaking Bad is the best tv drama in years, and perhaps ever! If you haven't watched it it is a must see. If you have seen it you know what everyone is talking about. Newbie to the series or dedicated fan this disc is a must own.

I didn't watch the series when it was originally on. But I thought I'd check out what all the buzz was about. Wow, I LOVE this show. I've only seen a few episodes of Season 3, but so far it's as good as the first 2 seasons. It gets better as it goes on, because you start identifying with the characters as you get to know them better.

Midway through the series and we are as much addicted to the series as Walt and Jessie's customers are to there product. While the tension continuously builds and Walt's world is in serious jeopardy, and just when we run out of nails to bite, we gat a slight reprieve with the humorous "Fly" episode. Vince Gilligan is a genius.

This is a series that just keeps getting better and better each season. I was always told that the 3rd season is when it really starts getting good, but although I can kind of see why people have said that, I thought the first 2 seasons were really good too. Anyway, if you like the show, this season won't disappoint.

This season was the first one where the Breaking Bad staff started making things up as they went along, and the results are stunning. The character work is at a new peak, and the suspense is almost unbearable (see "Fly" or "One Minute" for proof); the last shot of the final episode hits you like a shot to the gut.

I started watching Breaking Bad when my children told me it was good. I am in my 60's and didn't think I would like it because it involved drugs. It was so good my husband and I would stay up late watching one episode after another. We could not wait until the next season came out.

Great show that is wonderfully written. The acting is over the top by all the characters. Bryan Cranston is awesome in this show from beginning to end! Love how the story develops and how well you can feel what the characters are going through. We loved it all the way to end and was sad that it had to end.

All I can say is WOW! I got Breaking Bad on the recommendation of a friend and I'm not sorry I did. The writing is excellent, as well as the cinematography. It does get a little "gruesome" at times, but it seems like a lot of tv/films are doing that. If you like action/adventure/drama...Go for it!

Season 3 is probably my favorite of Breaking Bad. With Gus playing a larger role here the tension mounts, as Giancarlo Esposito gives a truly stellar performance. Blu-ray quality remains strong and there continue to be some nice extras to enjoy once the season ends. Quite excellent!

This show is absolutely incredible and by far one of the best shows hands down. Each season gets better and better. This is a great season and this is when things get really heated up!! Walt has come out as a new person!! Anybody that wants to see an awesome show has to check this out.

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are outstanding actors as well to the whole cast of breaking bad . This season was so epic and the storytelling is so detailed and really got me on my toes watching. Breaking bad is seriously one of the greatest tv shows of this generation .

One of the best television shows there has been. I initially missed the beginning of the series, so when these were on sale, I immediately bought the first 3 seasons. Great for binge watching & very easy to spend a day or two blowing through disc after disc. Great show!

While I did give Season Three 5 stars, on TV and on DVD, I found Season 3 slower. Still good, still have to watch to advance the series plot line, but just not as edgy or intense as seasons 1 and 2. Haven't watched the extras, but will once we have seen the entire series.

Things are really heating up. Walt gets deeper and deeper into the drug game making you wonder if he'll ever get out. Will he lose his family? The very reason he entered the game In the first place. Riveting, can't stop watching. Utterly addictive. A+++

I think the story line in this series is so well done. Having it on DVD makes it so easy to watch certain episodes and skip to those that I want to review again. Really interesting and original characters, acting very good and well worth the money.

At this point, if you've seen the first two seasons of Breaking Bad, you're morally obligated to watch the rest of the series. With a season finale second only to that of season four and the series finale, you will not want to miss this.

This is the season where I think Walter commits his first murder of an innocent man. That show and the one where Hank gets attacked by the cousins just makes this a nail biting season. Must have and I got it on Black Friday.
