    Overall it’s an okay machine. It’s not as nice as I thought it would be, some parts of the machine are made with plastic and it’s beyond me. The quality of it is not worth the price I paid.

    Had to get replacement 2 months. Now new one doesn’t work right either. Never grinds enough so have to tamp and grind several times which causes too dense in the portafilter and no product comes out. Took hours of calls/hangups just to get sent a new one and now the grinder doesn’t work when trying to set it up. Just give me a Keurig….

    Made barely luke warm lattes. Even heated the milk frothier and cup in hot water in advance and still barely luke warm lattes. Definitely not what I was expecting for the price. Contacted Breville and resetting did nothing. I ended up returning it.

    Inconsistent Extraction and Lack of Control

    The biggest issue with this machine is its inconsistent coffee extraction. Sometimes, it produces a decent shot, but other times, the espresso turns out extremely watery, even when using the same beans and making no adjustments. No matter the grind size, bean type, or freshness, I kept getting poor-tasting, under-extracted shots. The lack of a true dialing-in process is frustrating—since the machine relies on time- and volumetric-based settings, there’s no way to properly calibrate it for consistency. While manual adjustments can help achieve a better yield, there’s no way to save or apply these tweaks for future brews, making it difficult to get reliable results. Due to these issues, I’ve decided to go back to my Breville Touch, which offers consistent experience.

    This is a terrible machine, it constantly gives some errors, the water pressure is not enough to have a cup of coffee, although the filters are all new and clean. If you do everything according to the instructions that this machine gives On your display, you won’t see coffee. Every morning, instead of enjoying fresh coffee, you get a spoiled mood, a huge consumption of coffee from 4-5 grinds is 1 cup. Making a cup of coffee ends up taking a huge amount of time. About 20 minutes. This is simply unacceptable, especially for that kind of money.

    Was a wonderful product... WAS. Started flickering and malfunctioning a couple times. I would just unplug it and start again... but then it malfunctioned during a brew then again during the frothing. Completely turned off and wont turn back on!!! Pretty upset for how much the machine cost.

    I bought this coffee maker less than a month ago, and this is already my third Breville machine with the same issue. I absolutely love the taste of the coffee, but the grinder stops working within weeks. All three machines had the exact same problem. At this point, I can’t justify buying Breville again. Very disappointed with the grinder reliability.
