You won’t get a large juice return

I juiced around 3.5 pounds of carrots. The machine returned 10 ounces! Just 2 ounces more than a cup! I returned it and bought a masticating juicer and juiced about the same amount of carrots. The machine produced 20 ounces of juice!!!!! Don’t waste your time with this machine. after juicing my produce, I checked the pulp and there was liquid in the pulp collection container! I couldn’t believe it. Also, it produces a lot of foam. The juice tasted fresh and it was refreshing to drink but this machine costs more money to make juice. In other words, you’ll have to buy a larger quantity of fruits and veggies to produce the same volume of juice that you’d get from a better product. This is the low standard of “cold” juicers. By the way, it’s not a cold press juicer. If you’re looking specifically for a cold press juicer, this is NOT what you’re looking for. This Breville juicer is a centrifugal juicer which will make your juice lose nutrients. Sure, it’s quick to make a fresh juice but in the long run, it isn’t a good product. Again, do not confuse this with a cold press or masticating juicer. This is specifically a centrifugal juicer. The name of the product is a bit misleading. Lastly, all of the large bulky parts is a huge turn off. They’re too much of a hassle to clean and store. It was very frustrating to have to set up such a clunky looking machine.

Posted .Most of the time when a juicer isn't producing as much juice, or it's getting wet pulp or leaking, it is due to the Nutridisk/filter basket being clogged. The entire mesh of the basket should be see-through after cleaning.

I have had a lot of fun making new juices throughout the week. It requires a lot of cleanup and it requires a lot of fruit, it’s costly but worthwhile.

The clean up is a bit challenging but with the enormous amount of creations of healthy alternatives of food you can make its definitely worth it!
