The chute is wide enough for whole apples and pears. What amazed me true most was the clean up. I’m the past, I tossed juicers because it was hard to get the blade clean. Their juicer was super easy. If you use the brush that comes with the juicer, it make its sparkle like new!!!

My First Juicer

Breville is a good brand and my daughter uses one so I tried this one. I must say I really like it. Mainly use for celery, carrots, kale, and fruit to make my juice. It is easy, what takes time is preparing the vegetables. It will take Kale, whole carrots and celery easily. Depending on how you turn the container top allows you to control the pulp. Clean up is a breeze. I am happy with the machine, just have to use it more.

Carrots, celery, cucumbers and apples are a breeze. Does not do well with leafey greens though, as it gets very little juice out of them. Cleaning is average. It is a quality product with it's limitations. Wish I would have bought a masticating juicer, but non was available at store.
