I was hoping for a juicer that did not heat the juice up so much but still extracted a large quantity of juice from the pulp of fruits. This is not that juicer. Not only does it leave a fair amount of pulp in the juice it leaves a very wet pulp behind, meaning it is not very effective at extracting the juice. With that being said, it is a well made machine and by dumping the pulp back into the juice and blending the mix you get a very thick smoothie. If you are looking for a juicer that extracts the maximum amount of juice this is not it. I would also not call this a cold press juicer either. It was not the compromise juicer I was looking for.

Posted .Most of the time when a juicer isn't producing as much juice, or it's getting wet pulp or leaking, it is due to the Nutridisk/filter basket being clogged. The entire mesh of the basket should be see-through after cleaning.

Although, I like the cold feature I feel my old one was more efficient and produced more juice. I use the cold/low feature first and then I run the pulp through again using the high speed to get the most juice. I like that the pulp catcher is way bigger than my previous juicer. The pitcher is also nice. The screen is also easier to clean than before.
