    well.... worked great Was very happy with it bought 2 years 2 months ago then fan started going out this month. 2 months after warranty stopped FYI uses some amperage so make sure you have a good circuit to hook up to.

    Purchased this oven about 6 months ago. Worked great until last week when the control display went out. Unfortunately, thinking that Breville products were top quality, I paid cash and misplaced my receipt thinking it would work well past its warranty. NOT SO. As I used it every day, I had to purchase another one! This time I paid with a credit card and kept the all the paperwork. This is a great machine when it works. KEEP ALL OF YOUR PURCHASE PAPERWORK!

    Breville Smart Pro Toaster Oven

    I love this Breville oven but it only last it 3 months because then the door started to get stuck it wouldn’t close and know it doesn’t close and had to return it but know I want another one but is not in stuck.

    Love it until it breaks

    I love it until it stops working. Cannot be without it and that’s why I keep getting another one. I’m on my third one since 2020 and it just broke again tonight. Fortunately this one is still under warranty but I want a product that last and I can depend on. Cooked dinner in it tonight and when the buzzer went off I found raw chicken. Needless to say I’m not satisfied.

    Makes burnt toast on the edges at all settings.

    Cons: *I tried three times to make toast. I tried a different setting each time including the "3" light toast setting, "4" middle toast setting and 5 "medium dark" setting. You can see the results in the picture. The first time I followed the manual directions and positioned the untoasted bread in the very center of the rack. That resulted in no browning because one of the heat elements it at the front of the oven and the other heating element is at the back of the oven, so no success! Then, I used common sense, and tried placed the untoasted bread at the front of the oven directly under the heat element using a new setting each time. As you can see in the picture, each time the toast was burnt on the edges of the bread and uncooked or less cooked in the middle of the bread. * Another big problem is that the non-stick oven racks are so slick the toast slides into a new position even when you shut door gently. The oven door has a magnetic catch, that creates the sliding problem. * Another problem is that the exterior of the oven remained extremely hot for more than an hour after I finished toasting. This seems dangerous. I am worried that someone might accidentally touch it and get burned because there is no indicator that the oven is still hot. For the $400 price tag, I would hope Breville could do better!

    DO NOT purchase this! I had a Cuisinart Airfryer before this and I thought I would be upgrading by getting this expensive Breville model. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t work very well. I use an air fryer 3-5 times a week so I consider myself pretty well versed in cooking with one. This takes forever to air fry stuff and nothing ever gets very crispy like my old cuisinart. It is possible that I have a lemon unit, but I’m outside the return period by a week and so I’m stuck. It’s a pretty machine but DON’T DO IT! Stick with Cuisinart. Breville missed the mark with this.

    Dont buy Breville smart oven

    We were impressed with how perfectly made a pizza, bake banana bread, make pumpkin donuts. We are angry it lasted 2years and the fan went. Now reading this is common. Sad i spent the money on this.

    Works Great but good luck if something breaks

    We have owned or Breville Smart Oven Air for a little over two years. It's works amazing and have loved it up to today. Upon opening the door I heard the door spring break which from what I read is very common. I contacted Breville and learned they do not sell any parts. To replace this $10 part you must pay $250 and send it to them for repair. I've checked the 3rd party parts companies and they all show the part as backordered. My guess Breville is not sending them parts either. Lucky I can still use the product without the door spring.

    Poor Quality Control

    Just received my second unit in a week and both arrived damaged. The first had an open/unconnected corner that prevented the tray from sliding in the bottom. The latest has a dent in the metal on the back. I'll keep this one, since the dent does not seem to prevent the oven from functioning and because I'm tired of unpacking these things. Both incidents of damage seem unrelated to shipping and likely happened at the factory. This causes concern with overall quality, since Breville seems unconcerned with inspecting the products before packaging them. At this price point, good quality control should be expected. Sad to see Breville letting that slip so badly. Even the website is disappointing.

    Breville Air Fryer Pro

    I was fortunate to purchase this on sale and saved over $100, I love this dual oven / air fryer. I'm still getting used to it, but the things I've cooked in it turned out well though I have to add that I needed to give the first attempt of air fried chicken drumsticks a few more minutes to get crispy.

    Smokes me out of the house

    I bought this to replace my ninja air fryer. I have cooked cheese sticks in it. Worked great. Cooked chicken wings in it, smoked so much the fire alarm went off. Then today I roasted split chicken breast and the house is terribly smoky. Waiting for the fire alarm to go off again. I do not recommend spending money on this. Ive had it for maybe a week and wish i could take it back!!!

    Stop Working After 1 year!!!

    I won’t buy again from Breville. I paid over $300 on a oven toaster and it stopped working after a year of buying it brand new! Called customer service and was so disappointed. They want to charge you another $140 to fix it! I will never buy from this brand again. Rather spend it on a good brand that has great customer service.

    First oven I received, the fan was lose and rattled. Breville sent a replacement over. Little over a year and the fan is rattling on this one. Toasts bread unevenly - top is done, bottom is not. Great when it worked but poor quality design with the circulation fan.

    Flaw; convection fan will fail & no way to fix it

    Great kitchen appliance until the convection fan stops working. No way to fix it, company doesn't sell parts, not built for repair, - in other words planned obsolescence! It's too pricey an item to have it fail after 2 years, Rip off.

    Great oven, poor longevity and support

    We bought this oven 2+ years ago and use it all the time. It works beautifully and has replaced Our range oven for the most part. A Little after two years though, the convection fan stopped working after initially rattling every time we used it. We called Breville and they said for $215 they take a look at it and replace the fan. No other options. No other support either at Breville. Generally, we really like Breville products but we are probably now moving to a KitchenAid toaster oven that does proofing and convection. Breville needs to up its support!

    Less than two years, the convection fan failed. A problem that seems to be well documented with a quick search. It did everything a hefty priced convection oven would accomplish except work after 18 months. Loved it but for the price it should be reliable and not break down.
