    Don't buy this!

    Don't get it. My first machine never reached an appropriate water temp. It wouldn't get above 165 f. I got a replacement machine. It wasn't much better ... maybe 170. I put up with it for a couple of years and got fed up. Called support, returned to their repair shop. Paid over $200 to fix the heating element. Guess what? Same thing ... still isn't right. Customer service is nearly impossible to get in touch with. I want to like the machine, but I've had nothing but lemons.

      As the machine heats the water to 200 degrees F, the resulting espresso will be +/- 160-170 degrees F. Please make sure the preheat the filter and cup/mug, to ensure maximum espresso temperature. brevilleusa

    Extracting and holding pressure issues.

    I have the expresso machine for almost 3 years. It was working fine until recently start giving me hard time to make a cup of coffee. The extract program is not working properly and it does not hold pressure. Every time I reset the machine to the manufacture programing and reprogram it, it keeps and continuing to extract the coffee non stop. additionally, and sometime it does extract the coffee for 6-8 second only. I recommend not to waste your money and buy these machine. Very disappointed.

    Purchased on 10/9 and barely use it. Today the coffee extraction doesn’t work properly 3 months later.

    All breville parts is on backorder and they don't have service
