Great starter machine, comes with everything you need. I was concerned I wouldn’t use it enough but now it’s a daily use for me that will very quickly pay for itself.

Overall a great looking machine. It is easy to use however there is a learning curve as there will be with any espresso machine. It took me about two weeks to find the right grind that wotks best. It cant be too fine or too course. Once you find that sweet spot it is easy peasy after that. Steaming milk also has a learnig curve. For me the steaming pitcher has to be at least a 1/4 full. Less than that the steam wand just doesnt reach it well. Keeping the steam just at the surface of the milk yields the best results for me. For a mocha foam adding just a little instant hot cocoa to milk is pretty darn good.

Amazing coffee as long as you work to dial in your espresso correctly, the steam wand leaves a little to be desired because it’s only 1 hole

This is one of the best espresso machines I have ever used. Very robust. I have owned it for 18+ months and I didn't have any issues with it. It requires cleaning/descaling and care. Only buy it if you are willing to learn how to properly extract a perfect shot of espresso. You have control over the griding amount, size, and the pressure you apply to the portafilter. It takes time and practice to handle the steam wand nicely and have a good milk foam if you want to make cappuccinos. If you only drink pour-over coffee, this machine is not for you.

Once you get it dialed in, excellent machine. There's an inner grind setting that is not immediately obvious, it can turn out a much finer grind once you take off the hopper and adjust this down to good settings. I wasted quite a bit of coffee before a Youtube video clued me into this. Gotta get your pressure needle pointing straight up or further - and it likes fresh beans, not supermarket junk. Find a coffee shop for freshly roasted beans, study Youtube for how to froth your milk, and in a couple months this thing pays for itself.

We’ve had ours for over a year but have been a bit disappointed at our brews. Then we saw a YouTube video saying how you need to adjust the preset internal conical burrs from 6 to 3 for a finer grind. Now our brews are way tastier.

This machine works and looks great. The espresso it makes is very good and it eliminates the need for sophisticated tools needed for puck prep like scale, tamper etc.. Also, the auto milk frother is a blessing and my wife loves it so much! It also takes you step by step through the process and it learns from previous trials. It is also very user friendly!!

One of the best purchases I've ever made! I bought mine during the pandemic, when many coffee shops were closed. I had no idea at the time how much use I would get out of this machine. It makes a superb espresso with a thick crema, & even less expensive beans end up tasting good. I can easily make drinks equal to or better than a coffee shop. Tip-- purchase a 'dosing funnel' ($10 on a site that starts with an A), total game changer....attach to the porta filter while grinding, makes tamping a breeze/ easy clean up/ zero waste.

I love this machine. I am pretty new to making espresso. Great for learning and honing the craft of learning how to grind beans and properly froth milk.

This is a great machine so far, very low maintenance, cleans up easily. Took some light experimenting to get the ground / coffee amount to sync up, once complete, great doubleshot of espresso every time. I mostly go with an americano for ease, but I've been happy with capuccinos as well. Espresso makes a nice affogato and a really good martini too.

I was searching for an espresso machine in August. I didn’t want to spend $700 on a coffee machine so I went with the De’Longhi all in one coffee/espresso maker. Within a month the pump went and although the year warranty covered us to get sent a new machine, the new pump started to go immediately. We went right to Best Buy and gave them the replacement De’Longhi for this machine and I wish I had just purchased it in the first place. It took some playing with but it’s reliable and delicious and fun to use. I couldn’t recommend this espresso maker enough.

Great machine for an at home coffee bar. Saving me and my girlfriend tons of money by staying home and getting better coffee out of it. I recommend this machine because it's tried and true. You will find countless videos, reddit posts, forums, threads, etc., on how to set it up, use it, make any drinks, tips, tricks, all of it.

Great machine for how small it is. Grinds the coffee well (although loud) espresso comes out great. I love that i can steam some milk if i crave a latte or cappuccino. Weve had this machine for over a year now and it still works like a charm. Key is to keep it clean.

Great machine! Easy to use and makes great espresso drinks! The machine comes with all of the accessories you need. This is our second Breville. The first one served us well for many years but some of the o rings failed after extensive use and we chose not to try to repair it.

We had a Nespresso that cost about $100, but the capsules we liked cost $1.25 each. Being heavy coffee drinkers, I'd say we went thru 100 capsules a month, so when we figured it out, that put us at $1,500 per year for capsules alone. After doing the math, we opted to give this machine a try and invested in our favorite coffee beans, Allegro Bel Canto, which costs about $12/lb at Whole Foods. In a nutshell, we are very happy with this machine's performance in every aspect, from grinding to brewing and the convenience of having hot water for an Americano and steam for lattes and cappuccinos right at your fingertips. Be patient because at first I was a little intimidated with all stainless steel, dials and buttons, so my husband had to walk me thru the steps, but once you master your skills, you will be saving your money in the long run and enjoying cup after cup of a perfect coffee drink. As a added plus, it helps with my efforts to go GREEN, as I save my coffee grinds in a container as I do with used eggshells and about once a month I pulverize the eggshells and sprinkle both around my roses and then add miracle grow and my roses have never looked more beautiful, so there is no waste. So, give it a try ... you will be very happy you did :-)

I’m not a regular coffee drinker. I purchased this as a gift for my wife who drinks coffee everyday. This is a really good machine for what it does in the space it’s designed. If the coffee is not good it’s usually because of the choice of bean more than anything else. It’s designed well so you really cannot complain. The only problem is that it’s hard to use this as an everyday appliance if you have a busy life. We use this once a week on average and have found it easier to use the nespresso for everyday use since it gets the job done quicker sometimes at the cost of coffee that does not taste as good. That’s the case story with most things in life.
