This turned out to be a great gift for my wife. She’s enjoying learning about all of the features this machine has. It’s taking practice to truly get it down, but she’s loving the process.

Had to do trial and error to dial the right pressure, amount of coffee, and I did a lot of changes with the inner burr as well. The ideal is #4 for inner burr and #7 for the outer adjustment, but it really depends on your beans. There are a lot of tutorials on tiktok and youtube on how to do it :) all in all the machine works great

The Barista Express makes café-quality espresso right at home. The built-in grinder is super convenient, and the milk frother works great for lattes and cappuccinos. It takes a little practice to dial in your grind and shot, but once you get it, the results are fantastic. Worth every penny!
Intimidating to look at, but you'll get it quickly

My husband knows I love espresso and talked me into getting this machine as my very first espresso maker. I was extremely hesitant because when you haven't used something like this before it's extremely intimidating. However, I actually watched some youtube videos and followed the quick start instructions with no problems. I love it and make espresso shots and drinks with it daily. It's an expensive initial purchase but it's absolutely worth it if you're an espresso lover.

Wonderful, easy to use. I have coveted this machines and finally bought one when my old Breville Modena dies after a steady 15 year run. This is an easy to use machine that makes a great espresso

Being someone who drives a bit to get to and from work, plus kids' events, etc, Starbucks coffee was an easy, yet expensive way to go. We looked at what we spent on that decided if this was as good as we heard, it'll pay for itself. This has not only replaced Starbucks, but we no longer use our Keurig or our coffee maker. This is so simple to use, yet makes better tasting espresso, whether that be a latte, straight espresso, Americano, etc. This was an excellent purcahse for us.

This was a great addition to my kitchen and daily life. So easy to use and very little to clean. I look forward to my delicious americano drink every morning. Everyone in my family also enjoys the process of making it. It is very fun to be able to make a professional cup of coffee in your own kitchen whenever you want it!

MUST HAVE FOR COFFEE SNOBS! LOL Okay, bad way to start, but this unit has already paid itself off by eliminating the need to go to starbucks and the coffee is 1000x better. I can't say I've had much user for the frother (I usually just make espresso and americanos) but the unit has been solid, easy to clean, and issue free.

We got this during Black Friday and it's been a work horse ever since. My wife and I use this machine several times a day (that's probably not that great for us), but we just cant have enough of lattes and cappuccinos now. We are still learning how to do latte art, but for the essential matters which is to make a double espresso and froth the milk for it, I'd say it's easy to learn and it tastes great.

Pulls great shots of Espresso and that is really the reason I purchased it. My wife however likes drinks requiring the use of the steam wand and although it works Ok it takes some getting use to. It doesn't provide a great amount of steam and you have to play around with the dial a little bit before you can adequately produce enough for a single serve beverage. But for a shot of Espresso its great

It’s amazing but I did have to see some tik tok videos to figure out how to make the perfect espresso. But once you do it comes out great
Easy to use as long as you really try to understand it

Bought this for our office kitchen, and it has become the new 'watercooler' where people hang out and chat. We have a couple of people who have these at home, so the rest of us are learning to ditch the Keurig and have a new appreciation for good coffee beverages. The grinder is amazingly quiet, and the overall process is quick and simple. Love it so far.
