Bought this coffee machine for me and my husband after our daily coffee stand shut down for good. We use it about 4 times a day and absolutely love it. We can now make it better than our coffee stand could, and it’s cheaper. I wouldn’t consider any other brand or model. This has everything for a simple americano or latte. Maintenance is easy.

I was going to Starbucks everyweek on my days off! I wouldn't just order for myself but for family as well! Obviously this was getting expensive and It was a hit or miss if with the consistency of the coffee at Starbucks. I purchased a simpler 150$ espresso machine and was very happy but the level of control or ease (especially with the built in grinder) wasn't there. I decided to upgrade to The Barista Express. Honestly this was one of the best purchases I have ever made. I actually enjoy the coffee I make more than I do from Starbucks. Its definitively an investment but you will not regret it. There are some start up cost such as towels and a puck bucket but looks up this product on Amazon and look at the top review to get a good idea of what you will need. The post goes into much more detail. I bought mine from BestBuy because I love their return policy with the warranty you purchase with them.

Makes excellent coffee for people who want their coffee made right but don't have time to research ten million options.
If you have more money, than you have time, and you enjoy a good cup of coffee and quality... get this thing.
It is basic, and classic too... really no frills when you think about it or compare it to the k-cups, pods, etc. This is fresh beans, ground up and brewed into espresso. That's it.

So this is an amazing machine, the trick is you have to learn how to use it from a pro. My brother came over and spent 3 full hours to test and do coffee runs, and finally we nailed it. The trick is you have to get the grind correct, the pressure, and temperature. We discovered that running the machine 20 minutes before starting to use is what you do to make the machine come up to temp, then running the steamer before and after every use makes your water temp reach the max. Also make sure to weigh the coffee with a scale for each use to know the exact measurements. So the bottom line it’s a science to get it just right with the perfect taste, so if you are that person that looks for perfection and you have patience, then this is for you. If you are a person who drinks drip coffee from a Mr coffee machine, then this is not for you!

My partner and I wanted to get an espresso machine and didn't want to go too beginner, but didn't want to pay over $1,000 for it, either. After doing research, we chose this product, and we are so glad we did! You have to follow the instructions to make sure it's set up right and you have to know how to use all the functions like grind size and grind amount to make sure you're getting the most out of your system. Once you have everything in place, it is consistently amazing espresso every single time! Hang in there if it takes a few tries to get it right, don't blame the machine!

Find your inner barista. Makes a nice consistent cup of espresso. Steam sometimes lets out too much water but that seems normal. Many grind setting to adjust based on your beans. Helpful YouTube videos to get you started if you’re new to the espresso game as I was.

I knew I wanted this machine from the day I first saw it. It takes a little patience to learn and master, but the process is very rewarding. The built in grinder and milk frother allowed me to simplify my coffee equipment to one machine. Highly recommend this to anyone who loves coffeehouse drinks and has the desire to learn the craft.

I honestly thought this was something we would like but that it would likely just sit on our counter and look pretty. We literally threw our coffee brewer away and use this exclusively. Every single morning. Super easy to use and makes the best coffee. Every time people come over, they are super impressed and always ask for a coffee or latte. So glad we bought this!

Amazing espressos! It takes a few tries to see what grind setting your beans need but after that it's amazing. I don't buy iced coffee drinks out anymore! Some say fresh beans are the only way to make espresso in this machine, but I disagree. Yes, fresh roasted beans definitely give you a different texture, but store beans do well, to me anyways. Just remember to follow the directions in the book and you should do well. Also, its normal for the drip tray to have water in it, just empty it after a few days. I'm so glad I made this purchase.

Brews an excellent espresso right on your counter.
The integrated grinder produces very fine grounds and allows dial in your espresso to accommodate whole beans from various sources.
The dual wall caps are very useful to make use of random ground beans you may have around.
Highly recommend over single serving machines that eventually make your coffee experience tedious.

Best machine for making coffee at home! Took me about 2-3 days to figure out the settings I needed for the specific coffee beans I buy but once the settings are good the rest is magic. Great for saving money instead of buying coffee out everyday! Easy to clean.

Such a great performing espresso maker. Easy to use and such great tasting espressos. My only suggestion is to follow the instructions and prep the machine by pre-heating with the steamer.

Great espresso machine. Nice build quality and comes with all accessories you need. Grinder at its best for freshest ground coffee and lattes, espresso comes out just like your corner coffee shop. Just need some getting used to the manual settings. I think you would get back your money’s worth in few months. Totally worth it.
