We were looking for an espresso machine, and this was the go to model. Easy to use for first time making espressos very intuitive. Mostly make iced drinks but looking forward to learning how to make more things! Saves us from so many coffee shop visits!

This barista is amazing, it produces a great cup of espresso every time. The frother works awesome, and the ease of use is a real plus, not to mention how great it looks in my kitchen!

We absolutely love this machine. It is easy to use and makes great lattes. This machine has saved me hundreds of dollars because I can do everything at home that a commercial coffee shop would do at a fraction of the price.

I have never had anything so good. I'm a big coffee drinker, getting this espresso machine has changed my drinking experience. You need to own one of these!

Took a week to get the hang of it, but the dial on the front really gives good feedback on what you need to do to get a great shot of espresso. So much better than my previous machine.

This machine is an absolute dream!!! We got this espresso machine back in December, and we have hardly gone to coffee shops. We only go to Starbucks/Dunkin when we're on the road or out of town.
I will say this, it can be intimidating if you are coming from Pods based machine or a simple espresso machine. However, after a few uses, you will get the hang of it. 6 months later, we are still learning.
I highly recommend this machine to anyone and everyone. You won't regret it!

Love it. On my second machine unfortunately as they do not last a long time. My last machine burnt up on the inside. There is no customer support for breville machines either, so just be aware of this as you purchase. You also cannot get parts to fix the machine. With all of this, I still bought another because Starbucks lattes that taste like anything require about five shots and that’s a $7 plus coffee. If you make drip style, your going to go through a whole standard size bag of coffee in less than a week so either way, if you have a coffee habit, you’re going to shell out some serious cash to support the habit. I tried to by a cheaper machine by kitchenade and the coffee was horrible and cold, and the machine was small and awkward, so small you couldnt really see what you were doing and it felt like a child’s toy so back to the breville barista I went. The onboard grinder, the level of heat, combined with the fact this is not an automatic are what make this machine. Just enough customization to dial in your specific coffee requirements but not so many to cause it to be unmanageable. I hope breville doesn’t go in the fully automatic direction with this machine in the future.

This item is great. I replaced a broken Breville of the same model. I would have repaired the old one but parts were not available for what was broken. The old one was reliable and was surely a great product; it was used daily for three years by four people and produced at least 6 espresso drinks per day during those years and that one was bought used. We figured the machine produced around 6600 espresso drinks not to mention all the times we used the hot water for tea or other uses. Follow the directions that come with the espresso maker and you will have a perfect espresso every time, take short cuts and you will be disappointed. Think about the costs of getting Starbucks at 6600 cups that would easily be a years worth of minimum wage jobs or more.

We love our new Breville Espresso Machine. It's almost as if we've become expert baristas overnight...not to mention saving around $32/day @ Starbucks. It is not difficult to use, but it has so many options to adjust you are able to dial in your taste preferences. Be aware: It does take time! Because there are so many ways to adjust (burr settings, grind levels, metering, pod prep, bean variety, etc...not to mention how you steam/froth your milk, you do need to plan for experimenting and adjusting. Fantastic product so far!
