I had no idea about brewing coffee or making espresso's. I just knew I liked them. This machine does everything and makes a great cup of coffee. You can pay less, or even more. But if you want to learn how to make a good cup, this one will do the trick.

Even though it took some time dialing it in, I "n now make cappuccino, lattes and Americano so easy that we have at least one every day.

this is my first espresso machine and it's super user friendly for first time owner of an espresso machine. descaling and cleaning the machine is also very easy.

And pick up this user friendly yet extremely capable machine. Best part is you can now experiment with various roasts and types of coffee right at home...

Excellent machine. Everything works very well and everything needed is in the box. The grinder has a wide range of coarseness and the gauge gives the feedback needed to make adjustments. Highly recommend.

Awesome coffee maker makes the best coffee espresso ever great taste

I did a lot of research on this espresso machine as well as others and what people on Reddit recommend as a starter. - the grind is pretty average as people say, it’s the same burr grinder from the Smart grinder pro. The grind quality is ok but it makes clumps. I have to go back with a WDT and break the clumps. The grinder ALWAYS has like 0.2-0.3 grams of coffee that doesn’t come out. I have to pump the lid open/close to push the rest of the grind out. A single dose hopper should fix that. The tamper is too small. The 53.3mm ramps are Amazon should fit perfectly. That’s it for negatives. Everything else is great such as being able to program your own shot volume, steam wand works once you learn the technique. And it’s not that loud. I chose this over a gaggia classic pro and separate grinder because I prefer the breville look on my kitchen counter more than the commercial look of gaggia

I really enjoy making a fresh cup of espresso now. Its got all the features you need to make great espresso. I use it daily.

Works really great and I am pleased with the price. It took a bit of “tinkering” to figure out the grind levels, but once I figured that out, the rest was easy. It’s so nice having my own espresso machine now!

This is our second unit. Our first unit lasted about 8 years making 6-10 shots everyday. Amazing coffee! Amazing unit!
